By Troy 5: for her

Start from the beginning

 "Don't you dare!"

Then I heard only her requests to stop. But I didn't want to. To be honest, I couldn't even stop.

Nick and Danny came running to our screams, they somehow managed to pull me away from Aron.

"What the fuck, Troy?!" Nick shouted.

"You ask him what the fuck he's doing here?!"

"Get out of here, everyone!"  Della, who was still standing in my T-shirt, shouted.

Our bickering stopped. Nick and Danny immediately retreated. Aron left a couple of moments later, wiping the blood from his face with his hand. I stayed.

"Dell..."

"There is no need to explain anything. I heard what he said, he got what he deserved. Next time, don't let him into our bedroom at all."

"Oh, I didn't let him in! This dude just thought he could come in. I tried not to kill him, otherwise he wouldn't have come in."

"I'll talk to him."

"No. I'll talk to him."

"You've already talked!"

"I showed him who's in charge here. That's all. Now I can handle it with words."

"Honestly, I don't care. I'm going to my parents. Both of you are simply unbearable!"

I pretended to ignore her last sentence, nodded and went outside.

Aron was sitting next to us, about 10 meters from our house.

"How are you? Does it hurt much?" I nodded at his eye.

"Fuck you," the man spat on the ground.

"Aron, let's talk normally. We still have a lot of communication to do if you decide to stay here."

He looked at me, squinting either from pain or from the setting sun, then spread his hands and stood up.

We came to the fence, and leaning on it, I began:

"I'm sorry about that," I meant the abrasions and bruises.

"I also regret my words. I do not know why I decided that this is a great option: to go into your house and behave like this. But you understand me, I thought I'd never meet her again, and now she's here again, but so far away... And she's incredible, right?"

"Yes, she's incredible," I nodded.

"I can't just let her go. She's the love of my life, understand?"

"In this we are similar."

"Let me talk to her. I'll remind her of everything that connected us. Let her decide for herself later."

"No. I won't let you do that. I won't give up on her. Understand that your story with her is over a long time ago. She's a different person now. Not the same as before. I love her more than life. I won't let her go, even if I have to kill you to do it."

He was silent for a while, then suddenly said:

"I understand that she doesn't need me anymore. I thought she was glad I survived....But no. I still love her, but it looks like I'm going to have to let her go. It's hard for me, Troy. I want to disappear. It's just me here now. Me and my broken heart..."

"She's glad you're alive. Truth. She asked me so you could stay here."

"It's humiliating for me to be here. Everyone will look at me as a loser. You know what it looks like, right?"

"I understand. But it is not necessary for everyone to know that you were once associated with her."

"You won't tell anyone?"

"No. And so did she. It's good for everyone. I won't look so soft, who went on about a woman, and you won't look so patient. At least for the first time. And then everyone already will not care."

"Yes, it would be nice to hide all this. At least for a start. You know, the main thing for you is not to lose the ranch if you want her to be with you. Della always chose overbearing men. Once I was like that too...."

"I know. You have no idea how jealous I was of her, even before we started a relationship. All she did was talk about you," I grinned. "if you had risen from the dead a few months earlier, I'm sure I wouldn't have won her heart."

"It's all very shitty... but this is not the greatest tragedy of our time. She is alive and happy. I couldn't have dreamed of more... Okay, what am I supposed to do here? I want to be useful."

"How do you shoot?"

"It seems good."

"It seems?"

"Good."

"We can try you in the militia. This is an honorable thing for us."

Aron nodded, smiling with split lips. I was glad we talked. I didn't like him, but he's not a bad person, because Della once fell in love with him. I'm going to help him get through this for her.
