*Nicoles POV*
"Hello?"
"Hey, Jc" I said quietly
"Hey Nicole" he greeted
"I kinda have a few questions..." I told
He hesitated before answering, "Go ahead"
"Well, first I -"
"Nicole, I cant answer your questions." He cut me off
"Why not..?" I asked slightly panicking and wondering if this call was a mistake.
"Because I have to tell you something first. Well, confess...." he told, "Im still in love with you Nicole. I know you dont feel the same way, but I cant stand keeping these feelings pent up inside. I know I've been a complete and utter jerk in the past, and I regret it. I know you'll never give me another chance because all I've done was take advantage of you. I know that Kenny is probably the perfect guy for you. And I know that there will never be an "us" again, but I want to tell you that im still head over heels for you and that won't change. As hard as I try, I cant move on. That night, at the hotel, when you were cuddled up to my side and hiding your face in my chest whenever you got scared.... that was the best feeling in the world. Moments like those make me wish I could call you mine. It was so stupid of me to even think that cheating was remotly okay. And i apologize. But when im with you, I feel like life cant possibly get any better." He admitted
Im speechless. I didnt know he had it in him to say all those things. I didn't even know he felt that way. A tear slid down my cheek. The happy kind of tear. What he said was very heartfelt.
"You dont have to say anything. I understand... Goodnight Nicole" he said sadly then hung up. I tried to say something, but no words were escaping my mouth. I quickly opened up my messaging list and found Jc's. I typed the words "I love you too" but hesitated to hit send.
Eventually after a couple minutes of staring down at the text, I hit send and waited anxiously for a reaponse.
"Really?! Oh my god...I love you. So much."
His response made me smile like an idiot. My heart fluttered and my cheeks got a Rosie red color. I never got this feeling with Kenny. Not even close. I suddenly got a jolt of energy shoot through me. Well more like adrenaline. I dont know why. Jc just makes me... happy.
I threw my phone on the bed, ran out of my room and into Connors. I opened the door to reveal Connor fast asleep with his Mac book on his lap. I lightly giggled while I took the computer off of his lap and plugged it into the charger. I brought out a spare blanket out from the closet in his room and covered him with it. I turned off the lights, left, and closed the door.
I dont blame him for falling asleep on me. After all its really late. Well. Early. 6:44am to be exact. But im not tired anymore.
I grabbed my phone off the bed, my laptop of my dresser and went downstairs. I got settled in and unlocked my phone to see another message from Jc,
"Goodnight sweetheart, I love you so much you dont even know"
Once again I blushed and smiled like an idiot.
"Goodnight Jc♡" i replied
I threw a blanket over me and watched tv until I fell into a much needed sleep

Yes. I know that was short but there will be another update later tonight! The first draft of this chapter was really long so I split it I half. So Chapter sixteen will be up a little later.
