The Forgotten

Chapter 4

Finally it got to crowed and I could no longer see anything. So many people were in the way, I pull winry out of the crowd and I tell her that we should go to where the is no one or less people. She understood and we headed down towards the outer wall. There was hardly anyone here. It was only kids here, because when you are a farmer you have to work 24/7 and if you don't your crops will die. So we waited for the royal family to arrive.

We were waiting for about ten minuets we finally saw it coming. All the kids were jumping with joy they started screaming and yelling and then finally they were right upon us. I look in to the carriage and I see the Queen, the king and the princess, but I did not see the prince in there. Well I never have seen the prince before but I have seen the others of the family because some times my Mom would invite them to dinner but the prince never came, so I suppose that he was off some were training.

After the royal family visited, winry and I left to go get some lunch at winry's house. We just had some bread with jam on it. " that was fun at the market, now I better be getting home and get some rest for when we go to the palace in a few days. Bye thanks for the food!" I said to winry's family. Her family just waves goodbye.
I start to walk home and on my way home it started to get cold and raining, so pulled my hood on over my face. I started to get bored on my way home so I stared to sing because I thought no one was out but once I started to sing I ran in to someone. It was so embarrassing,no one has really heard me sing.

"oh, sorry, I did not see you there. Well I have to go bye." I said with out looking up and still walking.

"oh it's fine. Say what song were you singing?" The strange person asked

It sounded like a guys voice, I did not recognize the voice but then again I don't know every one in the town. I did not want to answer the man but I when i decided to tell him I look back and he was gone.

Not to much longer from when I ran into that guy and when I got home. Right as I got home I went striate to my room and got in some new and fresh clothes that were dry. I go down stairs and see my Mom and my dad sitting at the table talking.

"hello mother and father, I am back from the market." I said to them.
I got no replies from them, it was like they were trying to ignore me. "hello!" I say a little louder. Still I got no reply. I thought to my self I will try one more time. " HELLO MOTHER!" I yell. My mother and father looks but still does not say anything " why are you guys not talking to me! Are you trying to ignore me?!"

"no, no, no sweety.... Umm.. We did not hear you." My mother replies smoothly with out it sounding like a lie.
