"Surprised? I can hardly blame you for that." She laughed more right before Yusuke returned and gave her a death stare and a raised fist.

Botan held up her book as a shield. "Now cool your jets, silly head, I told you you can get a second chance, don't you remember? Just go through your incy ordeal and you can be back to life in no time. You should feel special, unexpected cases such as this only happens once every hundred years."

"You're just like my sister and the teachers at my school," Yusuke glowered and leaped away without a care. "No idea what's actually going on."

Botan started following and asked, "What's that supposed to mean? I know exactly what's happening and I'm saying you can fix it if you follow a few steps. Come on, it's a pretty good deal, don't you think?"

"Maybe," He crossed his arms behind his head. "But no thanks."

The reply stunned Botan a little. She'd expected him to accept it right away.

"I think I like being a ghost. You said it yourself, my life was kind of pathetic, right?" As he talked his face wore a wide grin of relief. "Everyone's gonna be much happier now that I'm erased. Teachers will be able to rest their big mouths and my Mom can party whenever she wants. Heck, might even find a decent guy for once. Plus Miyuki can finally have a better life now that I am not there to drag her into my troubles. There's no point in me doing some ordeal,"

"I'm sorry you feel that way at such an early age." Botan didn't know what else to say. She'd seen many things in her line of work be ordinary or strange, but this just took the cake.

"Yeah, well you got to agree there's no point in me doing some stupid ordeal."

But to Yusuke's surprise, Botan merely smiled and started to float away."I don't think there is any point in making big decisions in a hurry. Why don't you spend some time at your wake and think it over? I'll come back when you decide."

And with that, she was off.

"You got worms in your ears, lady?!" Yusuke shouted after her. "I DID DECIDE!"

Too late.

She was gone.

"Grrr, this is so stupid!" He grumbled once more before he decided to leave the hospital grounds. But just before he did, he caught sight of two figures barging into the examination room where the mother and son were waiting.

"Masaru? Yuki?"

"Brother?"

Yusuke saw a little girl drop her school bag and rush to the boy. Judging by her similar features, she could only be his sister.
