Chapter twenty seven-"Averys okay"

Glenn pov

I sat in the same spot while Hershal checked her out Lori and Rick were next to me Lori sat on the back of Ricks chair I licked my lips as I held her hands"Shes still losing blood faster then we can replace it"I shut my eyes tightly

"I can give her some of mine"I said holding my hand out but he shook his head"I needs Ricks blood son"I cursed myself shaking my head Lori stood from the chair"And with the swelling in her abdomen we can't wait any longer or shes just going to slip away"She could die during this I couldn't lose her she's my world

Rick stood up but I couldn't move from my spot I haven't moved since I got here"Now I need to know right now if you want me to do this because I think your girl is out of time"This might be the only way to save her and if we don't do it we could lose her I can lose her

"You have to make a choice"what was I supposed to do"A choice"Lori shot back to him"A choice you have to tell me what it is you have to tell me what it is"Rick said looking into Lori's eyes Lori placed her hand on his cheek and then looked at me

Herhsal brought in a table For the first time since I got here I stood up next to Lori"Okay get the corner of that bed"Herhsal brought the blankets down towards her feet"Ketd get the sheets down get the I.V bag on the sheet"

Rick took the I.v quickly and put it on the bed Rick lifted her head up and tool the pellow from her head"Glenn that side!"I shook my head out of my thoughts before I grabed the sheets to lif him to the table"One three"I looked over at Rick next to me with fear l"One two Three"

We lifted her on the table she was only in her bra and underwear witch made me feel uncomfortable with the old man touching her but it was to save her life hershal and a woman unraped tools my face filled with discussed looking down at them

The woman from before put a lamp next to the table and turned it on for light what if she dies I mean she could die I flinched when Ricks hand touched my shoulder"I-Im okay go to Lori"He looked down at Me with a nod before rapping his arm around Her"Glenn, Rick ,Lori you may want to step out"

My face went pale I didn't want to leave her side I also knew watching this would mess me up even more the sound of a car pulling in had me look at the door"There back"I said hopeful Rick looked out the window"Oh God"Rick bolted out the door"You stay here with her"Hershal told the girl

I stood in my spot looking down at her when Hershal ran out I walked up to Avery and grabed her hand"Im right here Avery you'll pull through"I leaned down and kissed her I didn't care if this woman was in here I shook my head and ran out of the room to catch up wit Rick

Shane limped towards us once I got outside"Avery"He cryed put out of breath"Theres still a chance"I walked up to him and grabed a bag off his shoulder"Otis"Hershal asked Shane"No"I looked over at Maggie who looked like she was crying

"We say nothing to Patricia not till after I need her"Was that the woman who was in that room Herhsal took off towards the house Now that Shane's back with the supplies it safer for Avery Rick hugged Shane I shook my head and walked into the house placing down the bag

Maggie walked in crying"Are you okay"She shook her head as I leaned on the counter and she sat down on a chair"I loved Otis I mean I never thought we would lose him"She said shaking her head I sighed and looked down"Who else"I asked walking up to the fridge ware there was a bunch of pictures

"Who'd you lose"She sniffed looking doen"You told me I had to make it okay somehow My girlfriend is In there dying and this is me trying to make it okay by helping you you been trying to make it okay right"I looked back at the fidge

"Witch ones"She stood up from her spot abd point at a woman"Stepmother stepbrother"She took a shaky breath"Avery would tell me everything will be okay and now I'm telling you"She smiled up through her teary eyes

"You must be taking this hard I-I mean your girls in there"she said pointing to the room"I know she's strong she'll pull through you know she would like you"She smiled at me whipping her eyes"Thank you your a good friend"I nodded putting my hands in my pocket

Herhsal soon walked out of the room I stood up straighter my eyes wide"I-is she okay"I stuttered he nodded"Shes doing much better"I sighed out of relief"Thank God"I said smiling for a second there I thought I was gonna lose her thank god for Herhsal

"Let's go tell Rick"Hershal said walking towards the door I followed followed by Maggie as well Once we opened the door and stepped out onto the porch Rick and Lori stood up smile on my face"He seems to have stabilized"I let out a breath smiling even wider

Lori and Rick look just as happy as me Rick brought Herhsal into a hug and then stepped away"I don't have words"Lori cryed I chuckled and looked down I owe this man my life he saved Avery and for that I will forever be grateful

"I don't either wish I did how do I tell Patricia about Otis"Rick looked down but there's one person I haven't seen I haven't seen Carl"You go to Avery  go wake up Carl I'm sure he'll be happy about this"Well that answered my question"Ill go with hershal Glenn go with Lori please"i nodded  with a smile

Rick stepped up towards me and brought me into a hug"Shes okay man"I said with a chuckle patting his back"Shes okay"I pulled away"Go take care of Patricia"He nodded and followed hershal I walked into the house and into the room and sat down next to her

"See I told you you could pull through"I said grabing her hand that was already feeling warmer crying in the other room could be heard Shane then walked in looking down at her"Wares Lori"I asked looking up at him"Shes getting Carl how's she doing"I looked up at him"So much better"

He nodded when Carl ran into the room past Shane"Oh Avs"Carl sat down on the char next to me looking down at her"Is she really okay"He asked looking over at me"Shes more then okay bud"I said rubbing his back he started sobbing pore kid

Shane walked out of the room"when will she wake up"Carl asked looking up at His mom"I don't know baby"She said grabing Averys other hand"Hopfully soon"I said looking over at her My girl was alive and that's what matters
