Chapter two-"Thats not even funny"

Amy went out looking for mushrooms while I was next to thr campfire by mom who was cooking the clean mushrooms on the fire I took a drink of my water and was getting worried it's almost late afternoon and there still not back

"Can you hand me that bowl"I nodded and handed her the small bowl of mushrooms"any luck"Mom said as Amy walked up to us with a red bucket Dale was on watch like always

"How do we tell if they're poison"Amy asked putting the mushrooms in the bowl I had given my mom mom handed Amy a spoon as she looked at them"Uh there's only one sure way I know of"She looked at one of them Counfusd

Amy looked over at me with a smile then back at My mom"ask Shane when he gets back"Amy said sitting down next to Me"yeah you've got it"She grabed the bucket and started walking away"Dale I'm heading out"I looked at mom then Carl who was playing with cars

"Sweetheart I want you to stay where Dale or Avery can see you okay"He nodded slowly"Yes mom"I smiled and looked down he was so respectful"You too don't wander to far stay within shouting distance"I smiled and looked over at Amy who nudged me

"And if you see anything holler I'll come running"I loved Dale he was amazing"yes mom"I chuckled as mom copied Carl"I like your mom"Amy said shaking her head"Shes cool"I said with a shrug

Amy took mom's place and started to cook the mushrooms"I hate mushrooms"I say looking at them with discussed"But there good"I shook my head at Amy"No way man"I sticked out my tongue

I looked back at Carl who was still playing"you still have to eat them"I nodded slowly"I know that and I don't complain about it when I do"I said shaking my head taking another drink of my water

"I'm achully really hungry"I said shaking my head wanting food"you pregnant"She said with a smile"Thats not even funny"I shook my head making her laugh"No im not I'm just hungry"

She threw her hands up"Sorry"I waved her off shaking my head"Are you guys safe though"I blushed and looked down"uh yeah he gets condoms every time he goes to town"She chuckled shaking her head

When I heard a rumble in the sky I looked up looks like it's gonna rain I love the rain I always used to stand in it or I would lay doen on grass and sit there it made me feel freeze need rain"Amy said looking up at the sky to

"Why we got plenty of water so we don't have to collect it"I said starting to help her cook the mushrooms"The world still needs rain"Yeah she's got a point there"Yeah that's true"I said with a smile"are you worried about Andrea"I asked thinking back to the group and my boyfriend in the city

"Yeah there not back"She said looking down"well as Carl said they always come back"She nodded slowly with a smile"Thats true"I stood up from my spot"Im gonna go for a walk"She nodded and I started walking camp

This is how it was when Glenn was gone I would just sit or walk around Camp I hated how every time he was the one to go to town but he's good at it I told him I wanted to go with but he wold never let me

I understand why but I still wanted to just so I can save him if anything happens I stepped over a log wondering whats going on in the city I hope there okay

Rick throws me a white gray shirt so they could put walker guts on them to get to a cube van it was going to be disgusting but anything to get back to Avery one one peice I would do anything

I nodded and slugged on the long shirt that goes past my waist same with everyone else once we had them on we ran to the door that leads out the back Ally ware we had killed a few walkers

We slammed open the door and Rick and Morails ran over to a dead walker and picked it up there were to walkers on the other side of the Ally that were starting to come are way I held a bat ready for anything by the door

When Rick and Morails got to the door I ushered them inside and was quick to shut the door Rick and Morails put the walker down and we knew what was coming next Rick picked up crowbar and slammed it into glass behind the glass was an axe

Once all the glass was out of the way he grabed it it was silent because we new what we had to do and if something goes wrong out there I might not be able to make it back to Avery like I had promised

I shouldn't have promised her but she looked so freaked out that u had to calm her by saying I promised I know she hates when I come to the city trust me I hate it to but I'm good at this I always had been I know the Streets since I was a pizza man

I looked down at the walker shaking my head as Rick steps up next to me we were all frowning we didn't want to do this I placed down the crowbar that Rick had handed to me as he slowly brought up the Axe

Rick started to raise the Axe faster tell us he was gonna do it I looked away I didn't want to see it but when I didn't hear any hacking sounds I looked up at Rick who had put the axe down and slid it across the room before he took of his helmet

He took of his gloves and croched down next to the walker and started patting him down he pulled out a wallet and started to open it and read the ID in it"Wayne Dunlap"Rick said looking at me then the rest of us"Georgia license"

He wanted to know who he was hacking up because that's the kind of person he is he may be a dumbass but he reminds me of Avery in so many ways"born in 1979"Rick handed me the ID witch i took and looked at it

It makes me sick to think about I mean people died and turned into these things they didn't know they didn't ask for it"he had 28 in his pocket when he died"This was sad to think about the fact we have to hack him up

He started patting him once again but found nothing so her stood up and put his gloves back on"one more thing"I said looking around at everyone"He was an organ donor"Everyone looked at me

Rick picked up the Axe and threw it back hacking the walker I looked away from the sight it was discussing the smell the sound all of it everyone else I was sure did the same think about something else think about something else

I thought back to camp and what Avery might have been doing what ever I was it was better then this I looked back over and soon after looked away with a few grunts of discussed when will this end I hope really soon
