Chapter three-"Glenns not gone"

I sat in me and Glenn's tent yet again I was washing up since I had fallen in mud so I was washing my face with my rag Glenn and the others should have been back but there not and I was starting to frak out

Besides that I was pissed during my walk I saw Shane and my mom doing the dirty that was not a sight I wanted to see

I was back to being mad at them another thunder could be heard from the sky I sighed and put the Rag down and threw on Glenn's coat and took a step outside because I knew it would soon rain

The wind was moving my brown hair into my face and every time I would push my hair out of my blue eyes I walked into camp and saw Dale and Jim working on the Rv Amy was passing back and forth

"It's late they should've been back by now"I nodded walking up to her"your right why are they still gone"I said my hands starting to shake in worry"Worrying won't make it better"Dale said looking up at us girls

Amy walked away and I followed her "I know how you feel My boyfriend out there to"She looked back at me and brought me in for a hug"What if the don't make it back"I closed my eyes shaking"I-I can't think that way if I lost Glenn...."I said shaking my head in her shoulder

I saw past her Carl and Shane tying knots"we have to keep positivity"I pulled way as she nodded"I know I'm just ugg why can't the be here"I chuckled noding"I want them here to"She grabed my hand and dragged me back into my tent

"What are we doing"I asked looking at her Counfusd"if they don't come back today come with me to the city"she wanted to go into the city if they don't come back"How would we get past Shane And I can't leave Carl no way we just have to have hope that they will come back"She looked down with a frown

"We can go back out now"I nodded and walked out if the tent and up to the Rv just as we got there the radio started to go off my eyes go wide"can anybody out there hear me"The radio said Dale was fast to climb the ladder

Shane made his way over he'll everyone found there way over"base camp this is T-dog anybody hear me"T-Dog oh my God Amy took my hand and held it as we looked up at Dale who lifted the radio spoke into it"Hello Hello receptions bad on this end repeat repeat"

My breath started to pick up as I looked up at Dale there was more static"Is that them"Mom asked standing next to Carl Dale lifted uo his finger telling her to give him a minute"were in some deep shit"I whimper left my mouth at Ts words

Amy brought me more into her as I started to think about the outcome of losing Glenn"were trapped in the department store"There trapped oh my God what do we do"There trapped they said there trapped"I said shaking my head

"There geeks all over the place hundreds of em were surrounded"There gonna die...I stumbled backwards tears in my eyes"T-Dog repeat that last repeat"Dale said turning the nob to get a better signal

Another rumble went through the sky"he said the department store"Mom said hands on her hips"I heard it to"Dale said looking down at us"Shane"Mom said stepping up to Shane"No way  we do not go after them we do not risk the rest of the group yall know that"

I shook my head the tears now slipping"we cant just leave him there "I cryed shaking my head"Look Avery I know this is not easy-"I cut him off"No and what about Amy"I said shaking my head

"Avery right she volunteered to go to help the rest of us"Amy said looking at me then Shane"I know and she knew the risks right see if she's trapped she's gone"I gasped at his words shaking my head

I took a step closer to shane"So we just have to deal with tha-"I cut him off slapping his face"Dont say that to her you Bitch"Mom looked shocked and almost angry but she also had a hint of proudness in her eyes

I ran away from Shane passing my mom I felt Amy on my trail as I cryed shaking my head I pulled to a stop tears in my eyes"A-Avery"I shook my head and fell to the ground  Amy followed sitting next to me"He can't he can't be G-Gone"

   (Not Avery but how she's crying)

"Oh A-Avery come here"She pulled me into a hug"Avery, Amy"I heard my mom yell but I couldn't stop crying not even If I wanted to mom ran up to us and looked down at us crouching down

"You know Shane wants to be we can't"I glared at her"HOW COULD YOU MOM"I yelled shaking my head"WHAT WOULD DAD SAY"I sobbed shaking my head"He would want to go after Amy and Glenn"Just then I felt the rain it my skin

The place around us was gray and dark"Avery I-"I cut her off"No how dare you sleeping with someone who's not him"her eyes went wide and looked over at Amy"Dont worry I already told her when I first found out!"She looked down

"I'm sorry"She said getting up and walking away"Avery"I sobbed once again and leaned on her shoulder our body's getting drench with the rain"lets get in your tent"I shook my head no I didn't want to go in there with all Glenn's stuff

"You know they still could make it don't listen to Shane"Amy whispered I took a deep breath trying to believe her words but I wasn't sure I hated him going to town and this is why I won't be able to love anyone after Glenn and I knew that

We haven't even said I love you yet we got up from are spot and I wipped my tears"There gonna be okay"I smiled at Amy and nodded"Your right I need to stay positive they will be back"

She nodded with a smile"Come on let's go wait for them"I nodded as we walked up back into camp and sat down and prayed that they would come back
