"I said I promised" she looked at me, definitely not convinced. We headed downstairs and out into the car. Keane was sat up front and Angelo was driving, we got in the back,
"How are you feeling?" Noah asked Arii, as she sat down,
"Stupid" She replied, he smiled,
"We've all been there" He replied,
"How are you Keane?" She asked,
"As good as I can be" He answered,
"I'm sorry"
"You don't need to apologize" He said,
"No, I do, what I did was completely out of order, drinking underage and coming back pissed out of my stupid head. I also hurt you Keane and I am so sorry for what I did"
"Arii, forget it okay, it's in the past"
"But..."
"I'm not going to say any more about it"
We pulled off, the journey was silent, I just stared out the window, knowing that I was the reason there was silence in the car.

Keane's POV
When we pull up outside The Corrigan's Diner, Angelo cut the engine,
"Do we have a plan of what we're going to say?" Noah asked,
"No, we're just going to ask whatever we feel" I replied,
"They are going to be okay with us coming to speak with them though right?" Tayte said,
"Yes" I replied, opening my door and slowly getting out, crutches first, followed by everyone else, Tayte came by my side,
"You okay?"
"Yeah...I'll survive" he smiled, as we walked into the diner. Which thankfully wasn't too busy, Rory's face when he saw me turned to complete shock,
"Come into the back" He said, we all trundled through the diner and out into the back and sat down, "What happened to you Keane? When you left you were okay"
"That doesn't matter, is it okay if we ask you a few things about our parents?"
"Keane, I'd much rather you tell me what happened to you first", just then Piper came into the room,
"Keane, Tayte...what are you doing here? Keane...what happened darling?" She came over and took my face in her hands,
"Piper, it's nothing, I'm fine"
"You sure don't look it, explain now" I noticed Noah, Tayte and Angelo trying to not to laugh,
"When I left here yesterday, some men jumped me...I shouldn't have walked, I should've just called for a lift or something...I'm okay though, honest" my last remark got looks from everyone else,
"Keane, I would have dropped you home if you just asked"
"I know...I know...but after what you'd told me, I needed to get my head around it...can we please drop the subject"
"Keane said that we could trust you" Tayte said, I gave him the look to say thank you,
"And you can trust us" Rory replied,
"Your parents are good friends of ours"
"Did you know they were spies and that they left us for 4 years to fend for ourselves?" I snapped, "Sorry"
