21. The Will To Live

Can one truly live without will?
Not just the will to live
But the will to live
Even when life becomes unbearable
When life batters one without mercy and is unforgiving
Those who can are truly alive

Without the will
One becomes an empty husk
A husk full of life
Yet not truly living
One not lifeless
Yet not truly alive
One that simply just exists

A life without purpose
Destroys the will to live
To live is to have meaning
To lack meaning is to die
For without meaning
Are you truly living?

Meaning to ones life
Births a strong conviction
One that carries purpose
Purpose to ones life
But only to those with will
The will to live
