[Alice, What do you mean by, 'course of events'.]

Realizing that she said something unnecessary, Alice quickly spoke.

[It's nothing important, you shouldn't worry about it.]

[I'm sorry but I think this 'course of events' has something to do with me being here. I just can't leave it like this.]

Alice stared at me with a grim expression.

It's her fault for giving away information she didn't want to tell me.

[I'm telling you there's nothing to worry about. I'll take care of it.]

Feeling a bit anger from her I thought of giving up, but if I give up now I don't think there'll come a time when I know the truth.

[I can help you with this, maybe both of us together can figure out why everything is happening.]

What I said was true, I wanted to help her.

Alice thought for a moment before speaking.

[Even if I want to tell you, you aren't eligible yet.]

All I heard was slight ringing in my ears.

I saw Alice's mouth move, but why couldn't I hear anything?

Alice sighed, making it obvious that she was tired of answering my questions.

She now showed her true colours.
In other words she was just using me.

Alice's eyebrows were now twitching with anger. I could tell how hard she was trying not to show any killing intent.

And here I was taking full advantage of it.

Looks like I'll just play along with your little act Alice.
