Willow's POV:

As I exit the room, the smell of strawberries fills my nose. I close my eyes, breathing in the sweet scent before it is replaced by the fresh smell of sea salt and the ocean. "Long time no see." I open my eyes to see beautiful sea-green eyes staring right into mine. My heart skips a beat as I look at the man, the myth, the legend himself.

"It hasn't been that long Seaweed Brain," I reply. Percy straightens and sighs, "Time passes crazily slow when you're not here." I feel my heart beating ten times faster, "Maybe it's because no one left to take over the responsibility of time since Kronos, so..." I trail off as he looks at me, exasperated. "You're impossible to flirt with," he says, and my eyes widen, "Who are you, and what have you done with Percy Jackson?" I question, pointing my finger at him. He slings his arm around my shoulders, leading me towards the lake. "I'm still your Seaweed Brain, but I've been hanging out with the Aphrodite boys and learning a few tricks," he says, winking at me.

"Maybe you should try them with Annabeth," I say to him, pushing down my feelings for him and thinking about how much Annabeth likes, no loves, him. She told me a few years, and since then, I've been trying to get them together, burying my feelings for Percy where all the other unimportant feelings went, like the need for my parents love. But every time he comes near me, my heart misses a beat. And when he says stuff like this.....Well you know...

Sometimes, I just want to tell him, but then Annabeth's face materializes in my mind. I can see the way she looks at him. Her obvious affection for him. The only one who doesn't realize is Percy himself. Hence, the nickname Seaweed Brain. "You know, Willow, you're the worst," I smile. "I know. But I also know that Annabeth's the best," I reply, nudging him lightly. "As a matter of fact, there she is," I exclaim, pointing at the blond hurricane heading towards us. The blonde hurricane that crashes straight into me, enveloping me in a crushing bear-hunt. I pat her back gently, unable to talk.

"Where were you?! And when did you come?? I missed you so much!!!" Annabeth yells out at 100 miles an hour. I hold my hands up in a slow down gesture, "Talk slowly. I was at school. I came here just now because of Nico and I'm going back. Also, I missed you too," I say. She smiles widely and then frowns, "Why are you going back?" At her question, Percy looks at me and raises his eyebrows. "Ummm....Because I have school," I say uncertainly. Annabeth blinks her eyes as if she didn't hear correctly, and Percy rolls his eyes. "I'm gonna pretend you didn't say that," Percy says, disappointed. I shrug, "It's the first day of school, and I'm already late," I say, suddenly worried. "I'm pretty sure we're more important than school," he says questioningly. "Do you teach me anything?" I say. "I can teach you many things!" Percy replies defensively. I cross my arms and raise my eyebrows, "Like what?" I ask sarcastically. "Umm...I can teach you swordfighting," I smile slightly. "So the student will become the teacher, hmm?" I say, "I already know swordfighting." He thinks for a few seconds, "I can teach you archery," he says. My smile turns into a smirk, "I'm better at archery than most of the Apollo kids, and some Hunters too," I say, boasting. "Well, then I'll teach you pick-up lines," he says, wiggling his eyebrows. Our eyes lock, but just as I'm about to say something, I see Annabeth glaring at us, "I don't think I'll need them," I say. Percy shrugs, "You never know when you might need them." Suddenly Annabeth speaks up, "Willow won't need them because she already has a boyfriend." I whip around to look at her. "She does?" Percy asks, frowning. "I do?" I say, and Annabeth glares at me, "Umm, yeah, I do," I say nervously. Percy obviously doesn't buy it, "So what's his name?" He says, crossing his arms. Di immortales

"His name is...." I say, thinking of all the boys I know before choosing a person Percy will definitely never meet,"Umm...Jason..Jason Grace," I say quickly. Percy's frown deepens, and to avoid any more questions, I quickly skedaddle away. "Gotta go! See ya later!" I yell, running towards the forest. When I reach there, I stop to take a deep breath. "Seriously Annabeth?" I mutter angrily, thinking of the school and shadowtravelling back.
