The fog cleared and I was standing in a desert-like area. It was hot so I took off my jacket, wrapping it around my waist. I made my way towards the generator in front of me. The moment with Jake by the campfire was constantly replaying in my mind. I heard a scream in the distance.

Someone has already been hooked.

I continued working on my generator. I know someone closer will get whoever off the hook.

I finished my generator with a pop. As I made my way towards the main building I was suddenly hit with birds. They swarmed around me as I tried shoo'ing them away. I could hear heartbeats getting closer.

I watched a scary lady in a red dress appear around the corner. She was beautiful but terrifying. I cried out in pain as she slashed me with her long black claws. The birds left me as I sprinted up the stairs. At the top I noticed Meg and David working on the generator. They looked up at me as they finished the generator.

I felt another slash on my back as I fell forward. I was surrounded by dead tree limbs. I felt the killer pick me up. She then dropped down from the platform and carried me outside. There was a hook right outside that she threw me on.

I hung there as I witnessed her create a giant bird head right in front of my hook. When she left, David came around the corner and unhooked me. The bird head then screeched and flew right at us. Birds swarmed us, we ran into the main building. I waved around my head frantically as I watched David jump into a locker and jump right back out.

"𝘐𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳." He said when pointing at the locker.

I copied what he did, from there he began to heal me. I listened for heartbeats as he focused on patching me up. another generator popped in the distance. Not long after we heard a scream. Meg was hooked. David and I made our way to the next generator since Meg sounded like she was farther away from us.

As we started working on the generator, we heard another scream.

"𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮; 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦." I told David as I left him to his work.

Running towards where I heard the screams, I couldn't help but be terrified. I made my way towards the killer's shack. Inside I notice stairs down into a basement area. I slowly crept downstairs. In the middle were four hooks. Meg and Zarina were hooked back-to-back. I hurriedly went over to them and helped Zarina off first and then Meg.

"𝘞𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘢 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. 𝘐𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘶𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘥." Meg said as she made her way back up the stairs. Zarina and I followed only to hear Meg scream out in pain. As we turned the corner the killer was picking Meg up. Zarina shoved me out of the way and aimed a flashlight right in the killer's eyes.

I watched as the killer shrieked and dropped Meg, who landed on her feet and sprinted away. Zarina grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the basement and past the stunned killer.

The generator David was working on popped in the distance. The heart beats were quicker and I made the mistake of looking behind me. The bird lady was just about to strike the injured Zarina. I don't know what took over me, but I pushed her out of the way just in time to get hit instead.

Zarina quickled spun around and flashed the killer's eyes with the flashlight. Grabbing my hand, she bolted to the main building, dragging me along. We heard the last generators pop and the alarm go off. The killer was dead on our heels as we sprinted to the gate.

I watched as David opened the gate in the distance. I glanced behind us to see the killer trying to swing at us again. Out of instinct, I shoved Zarina ahead of me and took a sharp turn. I ran away from the door, the killer chasing me. I watch the doors open and Zarina leaving with David.

I felt the killer stab me with her claws. I fell in pain and was immediately picked up and hooked. I fought the spider legs as the killer left me to die. I thought I was alone until Meg appeared from behind the boulder.

"𝘋𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺. 𝘐 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨." She told me, while lifting me off the hook.

Meg and I ran to the exit at full speed. My legs were burning from all the running. We were almost there. As we reached the gate birds came flying at us. I was hit into the dark fog.

I kept running until the fog cleared around me and the familiar campfire came into view. I tripped and landed on my hands and knees. I was out of breath, my wounds were healed, and I was exhausted. We escaped. I really need to stop sacrificing myself, but I just can't help it.

I glanced up and caught Jake watching me, but he soon realized and looked away. He was talking to Rebecca and laughing with her. I couldn't help but feel jealous.

Feng ran over and helped me up. She led me over to the fire and sat me down. We talked for the rest of the day. I would steal a few glances at Jake, but he wouldn't look my way at all.

Was he ignoring me?
