Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter Twelve

At one point, while the hammers were clashing, Schwarzwälder tried taunting at the king, purposefully trying to get on his nerves.

"That puny mallet of yours hasn't even left a mark on me! And you call yourself a king? Ha! Your strength is nothing compared to a REAL hammer!"

"Grrrr, you wanna feel the strength of a real hammer?!" Dedede threatened, shaking off Schwarzwälder and performing and uppercut attack with his hammer, actually managing to land the hit underneath the brute's chin.

Stumbling back a bit due to the impact of the attack, Schwarzwälder quickly shook it off and breathed angrily. "Oh NOW you're gonna pay!!!" he howled, charging at the king, Dedede leaping out of the way in the nick of time.

After attempting another unsuccessful ground pound, Dedede tried to swing his hammer at Schwarzwälder again, only for that hit to get parried.

Distracted by the two hammer wielder's fight, Kirby wasn't able to notice Bat-Cat in time, and the feline hybrid dove down and landed a scratch on his cheek before flying off. "Ow! Hey!"

Bat-Cat laughed at Kirby, taunting him.

Angry at seeing his friend attacked, Bandana Dee leaped up and did a helicopter attack with his spear.

Performing this attack let Bandana Dee reach Bat-Cat and he grabbed Kirby's cutter blade back from it, Bat-Cat letting out a surprised meow once Bandana Dee did so.

"Here Kirby! Catch!" Bandana Dee called out as he tossed the cutter blade to his friend.

Kirby caught it and- aiming carefully- threw it at Bat-Cat.

Bat-Cat easily avoided it. "Ha! You missed!" it said in mockery.

Kirby smirked. "Did I?"

Before Bat-Cat could react, the cutter blade boomeranged right back and striked the feline hybrid, causing it to screech in pain before falling.

"Bat-Cat!!" Licorice Cookie cried out as he quickly caught his pet.

As soon as he caught Bat-Cat, GingerBrave-having defeated the last Licorice Servant with Princess Cookie and Knight Cookie's help- almost immediately charged into him and knocked him over.

"Gah! GingerBrave!!! How dare you!!"

Princess Cookie and Knight Cookie ran up and stood beside GingerBrave.

"Ready to give up?" Princess Cookie threatened.

Licorice Cookie got up and started preparing another dark spell. "Not even close!" he then unleashed a ball of shadowy energy, knocking GingerBrave back a bit, and used his scythe to parry Knight Cookie's lance and throw him off balance, right before blocking Princess Cookie's incoming attacks with her scepter.

However, he had forgotten about Bandana Dee, still helicoptering above. After positioning himself right above Licorice Cookie, he performed a Moon Drop attack directly onto him, knocking him down with his spear. It didn't cause a severe wound, but the spear did manage to greatly damage Licorice Cookie.

"Ow! Ow! My back!" Licorice Cookie cried as he laid on the ground in pain, still holding Bat-Cat.

Bandana Dee let out a satisfied "Hmph!" before running up to Kirby, who gave him a congratulatory high five.

Now the only foe left was Schwarzwälder, who was still engaged in a fierce battle against Dedede.

Dedede tried to hit him multiple times with a giant swing attack with his hammer, yet each attempt was either deflected or dodged.

Schwarzwälder attempted to hit by slamming his hammer down at him, but the king managed to avoid it, and before the brute could react, Dedede managed to throw some dirt onto his face, temporarily blinding him and allowing Dedede to land a hit on his back.
