Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter Twelve

Soon GingerBrave, along with Princess Cookie and Knight Cookie, emerged from the forest too and went up to help the fallen friends.

"You okay??" GingerBrave asked as he helped Kirby up. When he looked up, his eyes widened and his brow furrowed. "Choco Werehound Brute! So you are here!"

"And Licorice Cookie and Bat-Cat!" said Knight Cookie, bringing out his lance.

Licorice Cookie groaned. "Ugh, of course you'd show up GingerBrave!" he then looked at Kirby "Who's that? Did you befriend a piece of bubble gum?"

"Hey! I'm a Star Warrior! Thank you very much!" Kirby responded "Who are you?"

"I'm Licorice Cookie! A powerful user of Dark Magic! Who are you? And what's with the funny hat?"

"My name's Kirby! And this hat is my cutter ability!"

Licorice Cookie narrowed his eye (This the 'Kirby' character the blob mentioned? Not what I was expecting based on how powerful he made them sound.)

"Hey! What are you doing to my subjects?!" Dedede yelled once he got up, seeing the two unconscious Waddle Dees and the one being held by Schwarzwälder.

"Mrrow, subjects?" Bat-Cat hissed "Are you supposed to be some kind of king?"

"Yeah! He's the great King Dedede!" Bandana Dee exclaimed, holding out his spear.

"Hah! This overgrown Blueberry Bird is a king? Please!" Schwarzwälder mocked him.

Dedede looked furious. "You take that back!"

"Licorice Cookie! Let those poor Waddle Dees go!" Princess Cookie demanded.

"Ah, so these things are called Waddle Dees huh? They're pretty weak, we must say." Licorice Cookie taunted, purposefully leaving out the part about Dark Matter. He wasn't going to let his enemies know he caught a powerful source of darkness.

Schwarzwälder laughed, dangling the Waddle Dee he was holding. "They didn't even last a second against my strength! Talk about pathetic! They're barely stronger than the oranges they look like!"

Dedede was practically fuming with rage. "YOU THREE, DARE HURT AND MOCK MY WADDLE DEES?!!!!"

Bat-Cat growled. "What are you gonna do about it? Mrr mrrow!"

"I'm gonna teach you a lesson! That's what!" Dedede roared, bringing out his hammer and gripping it with both hands.

Schwarzwälder made a toothy grin and dropped the Waddle Dee. "Aha! A fellow hammer wielder! This'll be a worthy fight!"

"Poyo, you sure about this Dedede?" Kirby asked the Great King.

"Yeah, this is the perfect way to let out all my pain and frustration!" he insisted "This guy's gonna feel my wrath!!!"

GingerBrave nodded. "Okay, you take on Choco Werehound Brute, we'll handle Licorice Cookie and Bat-Cat!"

"Don't act so confident GingerBrave! No matter how many times you face us, we'll still have plenty of dark magic ready to fight you!" Licorice Cookie proceeded to raise his scythe up, a dark magical aura emanating from it "Arise my servants!!"

With a flash of black lightning, Licorice Cookie summoned four of his Licorice Servants, creatures that looked like dark skulls carrying miniature swords, each one looking towards the party menacingly.

"Eep!!" Bandana Waddle Dee yelped.

"C'mon Bandana!" Kirby said in encouragement, readying his cutter boomerang blade "We can do this!"
