Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter Twelve

"Ah!" he yelped as he quickly dodged the Dark Matter. Immediately turning itself around, the Dark Matter dove at Licorice Cookie to try and possess him.

Licorice Cookie acted fast however, as he immediately fired a spell at it to stun it, while it was stunned he brought out the jar, removed the lid, and just as the Dark Matter was about to dive at him to make contact with him, he slammed the jar down on top of the creature, trapping it inside.

The Dark Matter, clearly not pleased with this, let out a hiss of fury.

"I-I did it!" Licorice Cookie exclaimed as he held down the jar "I did it! Haha! You're ours now- Woah!"

Licorice Cookie had to grip the jar better, as the Dark Matter inside was trying to ram itself out, hissing as it did so.

"Oh pipe down, like that's gonna help you." Licorice Cookie ordered. Using one hand to hold down the jar, he picked his scythe back up with the other hand and proceeded to cast a dark sealing spell onto the jar for an extra safety measure.

Carefully putting the lid back on the jar, he then picked it up and brought it to Schwarzwälder and Bat-Cat to show it off.

"Meow! Nice job Meowster!" Bat-Cat complimented "You caught that thing with ease!"

Licorice Cookie grinned, admittedly it had been easy to catch thanks to its size and how quick he was able to react, but he would still count this as a victory. He looked at the captured Dark Matter within the jar, it squinting back at him.

"Heh, Dark Enchantress Cookie is sure to be pleased with this!" he said as he put the jar in his cloak, where it and its contents would be safe and concealed.

"Uhh, what's happening to those three???" Schwarzwälder suddenly asked.

Turning around, Licorice Cookie saw that the three Waddle Dees had gotten up, but their movements were very unnatural. They then revealed their faces had been replaced with singular giant eyeballs covering the entire facial area.

"Woah!!! The blob didn't mention they could do that!!" Licorice Cookie exclaimed.

Locking their eyes onto Licorice Cookie, the three possessed Waddle Dees began to charge at him.

"Uh... Schwarzwälder? Can you take care of this?"

"Ha! Please! These Cookies will be no match for Choco Werehound Brute!!!" the big Cake Monster shouted as he ran forward and slammed his hammer down before the possessed Waddle Dees, sending them flying back.

Before they could get up, Schwarzwälder had knocked each of them back down and whacked them in their heads with his hammer, easily knocking them unconscious.

"Wa ha ha! Look how easily they lost! I barely even smashed them!" he cackled, raising his hammer in victory.

"Wait!! Don't let the Dark Matter get away!" Licorice Cookie yelled, running towards the Choco Werehound Brute.

It was too late however, as the darkness erupted from the Waddle Dees, and flew off into the sky- the Waddle Dees turning back to normal with their dark possessors gone.

"Oh, whoops. Hey at least we caught one!" Schwarzwälder then picked up one of the unconscious Waddle Dees "What about these puny things? What should we do with them?"

Licorice Cookie looked at the Waddle Dees and scratched his chin. "Hmmm... if they're this weak, even when possessed, I doubt they'd be useful. But we can still get some information out of them, so let's take them back with us and- wait... did you hear that?"

Bat-Cat flew up to the two and looked towards the forest with them. "Meow, it sounds like someone is coming this way..."

"WADDLE DEES!!!! I'M HERE!!!!" screamed King Dedede as he emerged from the forest, tripping and falling to the ground a few feet from the villainous trio, Kirby and Bandana Dee right behind him and falling to the ground as well.
