Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter Twelve

"Will he be okay though?" asked another unfamiliar voice.

"Yeah he'll be fine! He just needs food. Kirby? Do you still have that leftover Bear Jelly from the snack break we had?"

"Mmhm! Here, Dedede can have it!"

Kirby then handed the Bear Jelly to Bandana and the Waddle Dee went up to Dedede with it and held it up to his face.

Dedede took a sniff of the food and once he grabbed it from Bandana, he instantly ate it. A second or two later, Dedede felt rejuvenated and was able to get up.

"(*YAWN!*) Thanks Bandana." he said as he stretched out his body. When he finished, he immediately snapped back into reality and smiled.

"Bandana!!!! Kirby!!!!!"

"Great King!!!" Bandana Dee exclaimed as he and Kirby went up to Dedede to hug him. Dedede let out a hearty laugh as he picked the two up and brought them into a big ol' hug.

"Boy am I happy to see you two!" Dedede laughed "Thank goodness you're both here!"

"Of course Dedede!" Kirby giggled as he hugged Dedede back "We were super worried about you!"

"I'm so sorry I didn't find you sooner Great King!" Bandana Dee apologized.

"Aw, no need for that. You did a great job. Thank you for finding me."

Once the hug was finished, Dedede set Kirby and Bandana Dee down. He then looked up at the three Cookies beside them. "Who are your new friends?"

Kirby waddled up to the three Cookies "Dedede, this is GingerBrave, Knight Cookie, and Princess Cookie!"

"Hi!" said Princess Cookie "I already introduced myself, but hello again!"

"Ey, a fellow royal huh? Great to meet you!" Dedede did a little bow before Princess Cookie.

"Pleasure meeting you as well!" Princess Cookie giggled, doing a little curtsy.

Knight Cookie looked up and down at Dedede, studying him. "Wow, if you don't mind me saying, you are quite large!"

"Ha ha! No offense taken! I'm quite proud of my height and weight! Besides, being big helps me be strong so I can be stronger for my kingdom and my subjects!"

"That's a great way of looking at it!" GingerBrave complimented "You must be a great king!"

Dedede smiled. "I wasn't always," he admitted, patting Bandana Dee on the head "but I'm working on being one. A great king worthy of my Waddle Dees."

"And you've done a marvelous job at that!" Bandana Happily agreed.

Dedede laughed some more, then looked around a bit. "Speaking of... Bandana? Are the three other Waddle Dees that got taken by the vortex with you?"

"No, we haven't found my Waddle Dee comrades I'm afraid, sorry Great King."

Dedede frowned. "Hmm, wonder where they ended up..."

"I'm sure they're okay!" Kirby reassured him, jumping up and grabbing his hand "Let's take you back to the others though, so you can get some rest!"

"Heh, yeah. That sounds like a good idea."

GingerBrave nodded in agreement, then twirled his candy cane around. "Good thing Marx saw you, otherwise we probably wouldn't have found you here!"

"Wait, Marx was here????" Dedede questioned.

"Uh-huh! He said he saw you yesterday and tried to call out to you, did you not hear him?" Kirby explained.

"No! When I got here last night I didn't hear anyone! Except the frightening sounds of wildlife. I didn't hear anyone calling for me though!"
