"Uncle, Aunt I apologise for my yesterday's behaviour. I know you don't trust me for a second and that's acceptable but I can assure you two that no matter what it is I'll protect Eira with my life. She will be happy with me." He first looked at Adil then at Eira, looking deeply in her eyes.

This really made everyone taken aback, even it was new for Alex to apologise and to assure someone, to say openly that he will protect a girl, to say that he will protect her with his life. Everything is new for him.

"Now we will take our leave." He stood up from his seat.

"I'll be waiting for you outside." He looked at Eira with soft gaze making her heart to skip a beat.

"Atleast have dinner with us."

"No no uncle maybe some other time." He replied politely and got out. Eira smiled looking at his retreating back. She looked at her parents with a wide smile and wore her abhaya and niqab.

"I'll leave now." She hugged both of them, her mother was feeling a little assured seeing Alex's this side. She hugged them again and went out after saying her good bye. She got in the passenger's seat of the Ferrari.

"Done." He asked, she nodded at him waving her hand looking at her parents.

The ride was silent a peaceful and comfortable silence. She was looking outside the window, while he was glancing at her from time to time with a slight smile. She was aware of that.

"If you keep doing that then I doubt that it will be your last time looking at me." She teased still looking outside the window, he chuckled at her.

"I think it will be the best view for my last breath." He replied again glancing at her.

"You aren't even seeing my face." She turned towards him looking at his calm face, and veiny hands. His sleeves were neatly rolled up to his elbows, his hands gripping the steering wheel and how he was turning it with ease.

"It doesn't matter." He replied looking at her making a blush travel to her cheeks. She coughed and turned back at the window making him chuckle lightly.

"Eira."

She looked at him, he parked the car to the side and the SUV's also stopped behind him. He turned completely towards her making a strong eye contact with her. She gulped but didn't break that eye contact.

"Whatever it is tell me the truth."

She nodded at him.

"Did you told about my secret to your parents or anyone?"

"What secret?" She asked confused.

"That I am..."

"Oh that you are King of some gangsters."

He looked at her and burst into laughters.

"You are making me low sweetheart I'm the Mafia King not some gangsters."

"What's the difference?"

"The difference is gangsters are lowkey people without any deep connections. They do murders randomly without registering who they are killing. Whereas the Mafia's are different, we are more powerful, powerful than anyone else in the country or world. We have dignity and we don't touch the innocent nor women or kids until they deserve it." He explained calmly without breaking their eye contact.

This time she got lost in those dark blue orbs. She was feeling so strange looking at those cold orbs as if it has so many emotions. Their moment got disturb by some knock. Eira immediately looked the other way and Alex rolled down the window.
