ALYIAH IS SEXY; I've always known that, but seeing her on stage dancing made me even more attracted to her, if that's even possible. I couldn't take my eyes off of her; anywhere she went, my eyes followed. I admired the way her body flowed to the beat; her face was expressive, and that made her performance more enjoyable to watch. I could feel her excitement from my seat. I heard her mother, along with my family, cheering her on, causing annoyed looks to come to our section.

"I'm just so proud of her," Ms. Anderson cried. My mother was comforting her as we stood at the entrance of the auditorium, waiting for Alyiah.

"That was so cool," Emilia said as she bounced in her father's arms.

"And that's why I come back to the point that she's way out of your league," Leon said as he patted me on the back.

"Stop putting doubts in your brother's mind," dad scolded after giving him a slap on the back of his head.

"He's just jealous," I smirked, while my brother, being the immature person he is, stuck out his tongue.

"Well-"

"My baby," Ms. Anderson sobbed, effectively cutting off Leon.

She rushed over to Alyiah, quickly squeezing her tight. From where I stood, I could see Alyiah biting her lip and tilting her head upwards; she always did this when trying not to cry. She hugged her mother just as tight, and in my peripheral vision, I could see mom getting teary; she was always empathic. When they finished having their moment, Emilia immediately dropped herself from her father's arm and ran over to Alyiah, followed closely by my mother. The three had gotten closer after she visited more, and Emilia decided she was in love with her after she tried her cookies.

"You were amazing," Emilia gushed, bouncing up and down on Alyiah's hip.

"Thank you," she blushed.

"Don't act shy now," my mom smirked, causing Alyiah to blush even harder.

"Why don't we continue this over dinner?" my dad piped up.

"Always one to think about his stomach," I heard my mother mutter.

"You guys can come over; I can cook up something," Ms. Anderson smiled.

"Let's go," my dad said, quickly taking off towards the car.

"I don't know how he isn't fat," my mother chuckled, trailing behind him, bringing Emilia and collecting Leroy, who was flirting with another dancer.

"Are you going with Leo?"

"Yeah, I'll see you at home," she said, kissing her mom on the cheek.

"We might make a detour."

"Just bring her home safe," her mother said, patting me on the arm before giving one last smile to her daughter.
