The Babysitter

Part 16

Sam's POV

Gosh, I can't wait to get home and see my girls - you heard it right. My two girls, Mon and Sarai! Well, technically I didn't ask Mon to officially be my girlfriend yet but I will do it. Even though we already act like we are a married couple... But anyways where was I.. Ah! Yes, can't wait to get home and see their faces.

I've been in the office all morning, signing paper after paper. I told them that I would try to get home earlier since it was Friday but every time I got ready to leave Nita would walk in with more contracts and papers for me to go over. It's like she had been saving all of it just for today... but I'm all done now. I literally had to sneak out of MY OWN company so Nita wouldn't annoy me with more to-do lists. Seriously, I love Nita as my secretary but she can be annoying sometimes and I don't get why!

As soon as got to my house, I got out of the car excitedly and passed the keys to Ricky so he would park the car. I've been driving most days now to work and I leave Ricky at home just in case Mon needs him to drive her around.

I walked in, took my shoes off, and went straight to the playroom; I know it's past lunchtime and Sarai's free time so they will definitely be in the playroom playing around! However, when I got there it was empty, everything was still organized and they looked untouched. I started searching for them, maybe they are outside. But again, no one was there. Only some workers taking care of the garden. I walked back in the house and when I was passing by the kitchen I heard Sarai's voice. They were probably bothering Ms Mai while she was preparing some food; I smile with my toughs and I headed to the kitchen.

Sarai was seating on the chair while watching Ms Mai chop some vegetables but I didn't see Mon. As soon as Sarai notices my presence she got off the chair and ran towards me. I picked her up and gave her some kisses on the head!

Sam; Goodness, my daughter is getting so big every day. I can barely carry her - I joked while placing her back on the ground - Hello Ms Mai!

Mai; Hello my lady, how are you this afternoon? - she smiled - Would you like anything to eat?

Sam: don't worry, I had something already at work! - she nods her head smiling - Is my little princess helping you cook today?

Mai; She's been helping me all morning, she's all grown! - Sarai looked at me all proud and I hugged her... but then where's Mon? -

Sarai; Mama, when will Mon come back? I've been missing her all morning - that took me by surprise -

Sam; What do you mean, princess? Mon hasn't returned yet? - it was almost four in the afternoon. That was strange!

Mai; Not yet my lady - she gave me a half smile - She asked me to watch Sarai while she would step out just for a few hours to grab her stuff.

Sarai; she told me she would be back soon, but I had to have lunch alone. I want Mon mama! - she pouted and looked up at me!

Sam; I will go call her to check on her - I caressed her cheeks and she gave me a big smile - You want to go practice some piano while I call her? - she nods and leave the kitchen and I followed her out.- I will go find you after I'm done...

Sarai; Okay, Mama - I saw her running towards her music room -

I grabbed my phone and dialed Mon's line. It took a few seconds for her to answer and she usually answers it right away.
