It's continuing off from last chapter!

Tw: Blood, violence (training, no one is going around smacking teeth out), period stuff, vomit, angst.

~Amita~

"Amita, flank Wrecker!" Hunter commanded as he ducked behind some cover.

I nodded, hurrying to follow his orders. I ran across the room to get to Wrecker's side, shooting to provide cover.

A sudden bout of cramps hit me, sending me crashing to the floor. My forehead began to sweat as my whole body tensed.

"Amita!" Wrecker cried out.

Hunter stopped the training exercise, as everyone crowded me.

"What's wrong?" Crosshair asked.

"I'm fine," I bit out through the pain.

"You're curled in a ball on the floor," Hunter pointed out.

"And I'm fine," I hissed. "I'm not dead yet."

"So you're saying this pain would only be bad if it ended up killing you?" Hunter questioned.

"I guess so," I nodded.

"That is unreasonable," Tech chimed in. "Period cramps are contractions to push the uterine lining from your body. It will be painful."

"But I can continue the simulation," I insisted and stood up, my brows burrowing at the pain. "I can work through it. It's not that bad."

"Alright then," Hunter turned it back on. "Continue."

Maybe a minute went by before a sharp pain struck again, sending me to the floor. Hunter paused the simulation again and put his hands on his hips.

"Is it still 'not that bad'?" Hunter asked.

"I can work through it," I stubbornly said.

I keeled over and covered the floor in my vomit.

"Gross," Crosshair wrinkled his nose.

"I'm sorry!" I tearfully said. "I'll clean it up!"

"I will inform maintenance that they're needed," Tech said and hurried away.

"I'm sorry!" I cried out. "I can keep training! I- I can clean it up and then we'll keep training!"

"We're I going back to our rooms," Hunter decided. "Let's go."

I clambered to my feet, tears stinging my eyes. I followed after them, my back aching.

We reached their room, and Hunter motioned for me to go inside.

"What's wrong with you?" Hunter asked once the door had shut behind me.

"I'm sorry," I tearfully said.

"She's on her period," Crosshair told Hunter.

"No, I know that. But why are you all... apologetic and stuff?" Hunter questioned.

"I don't want to bother you with my problems," I muttered.

"You've never had an issue with telling us what was wrong is the past. The sports bra dilemma for example," Tech said.

I stayed silent.

"Are ya alright, Amita?" Wrecker worriedly asked.

"I'm sorry for bothering you guys," I softly said.

"You're a member of our squad. Your health isn't a bother to us. Would you just tell us why you're acting strange?" Hunter asked.

"I've been..." I took a deep breath. "I've been told before that no one wants to hear about my 'woman issues' and I guess it hurt me more than I'd like to admit."

Wrecker gave me a hug. "I'm sorry that happened."

"You don't have to worry about grossing us out or anything," Hunter assured me. "And whoever said that is a di'kut."

"Thanks," I smiled weakly.

"The vomit is cleaned," Tech said as he entered the room.

"Anything you need to make this easier?" Hunter asked.

"No," I murmured.

He raised an eyebrow.

"Okay maybe some painkillers, and chocolate muffins," I admitted.

"What's with you and chocolate muffins?" Crosshair questioned.

"I just like them!" I sobbed. "They're tasty!"
