In a room full of people, my eyes land on you,
I can't help this feeling take over me—so blue.
And when you sense, my prolonged glance
I look away knowing, we'll never have a second chance.Once upon a time in February,
A story began which now lies, etched in memory.
There were chapters where your presence, felt like an early spring,
Reminiscing them now, reminds me of my broken strings. The broken strings of my heart's lyre,
That once tuned in to play, a note of its desire.
But this time, I didn't have the strings replaced,
'Cause I didn't want to fall back into the dark abyss, I just escaped. There's an erratic note playing, every day,
When I see you walk, down the hallway.
And I wonder if such a feeling ever overwhelms you,
When you walk past the girl you once knew. The dark abyss is tugging, at the loose strings again,
Trying to drag me in, bind me with chains.
I'm so enervated from these long terrifying nights,
I just want to see a glimpse of daylight.✦
how long will
these starless nights last?
until i see, the sun again?Vote|Comment|Share
