"Hello Licorice Cookie."

"Ah, hello Red Velvet Cookie!" Licorice Cookie greeted. "How goes the production of the next batch of Cake Monsters?"

Red Velvet Cookie looked at the oven where the cake monsters were being produced. "This one is taking its time. Once it's finished though, I assure you that these will be some of our strongest warriors."

Licorice Cookie tapped his foot. "I hope so! Anything to stop dumb GingerBrave and his friends!" the necromancer stopped to fix his wavy hair "How is it that every evil scheme we've devised, they somehow manage to win regardless of our strengths?!"

"I understand your frustration, but we must have patience. If Dark Enchantress Cookie's plan is to work, we must play our part."

"I know that." Licorice Cookie nodded "I'm all for obeying our beloved master, I just wish we had a better method for stopping those meddlesome heroes so they won't get in the way again!"

"Well it's not like the solution to our problems is going to suddenly show up." Red Velvet Cookie reminded him.

"Fair, it would be nice though."

A moment of silence passed.

"How's Choco Werehound Brute?" Red Velvet Cookie eventually asked.

"Oh, Schwarzwälder? He's alright. Running out of things to smash though."

"I'm sure he'll find something."

Suddenly, the two Cookies heard a distressed bark. Facing the direction they heard it, they saw a little Cake Hound running to them as fast as it could.

"Bark bark!" it yelped.

"Chiffon!" Red Velvet Cookie cried out, running to his cream hound companion "What's the matter?"

Chiffon barked some more, ran in circles for a second, then turned its head to the side repeatedly.

"Something must be wrong," Red Velvet Cookie deduced "Chiffon wants us to follow!"

Along with Licorice Cookie, Red Velvet Cookie followed the little Cake Hound to see what the issue was. It took the two Cookies to one part of the tower where most of the Cake Monsters would gather to rest.

When they got there, the trio saw an open circle of small Cake warriors, staring fearfully at...

Licorice Cookie blinked in confusion. "What the..."

At the center of the circle, a blue blob creature was chasing a Cake Boomerang Warrior in circles, the blob's long tongue dangling from his mouth.

"Cake!!!!" the blue blob squealed excitedly.

The Cake Boomerang Warrior squeaked in fear, throwing its boomerang at the blob, but it did no damage and bounced right off him.

Red Velvet Cookie quickly took action, stepping forward, he slammed his saw weapon in front of the blue blob, stopping the blob in his tracks as the Cake Boomerang Warrior ran and hid behind the other Cake Monsters .

"What do you think you're doing?" Red Velvet Cookie asked in a serious tone, the blue pupil of his black eye gleaming.

The creature looked nervous for a moment, but when he saw Red Velvet Cookie's monstrous cake arm, he smiled again.

"Cake!!!" he joyfully exclaimed as he extended his tongue to try and wrap it around Red Velvet Cookie's cake arm.

"Ahh!" Red Velvet Cookie screamed as he quickly recoiled his hand before the tongue could make contact. He then used his monstrous cake arm to aggressively grab the creature and held him upside down. "DON'T DO THAT!!"

The blue blob frowned again. "Sorry... I didn't know I was doing something bad... I'm so sorry..."

Red Velvet Cookie's expression softened a bit. "Well... don't do it again!" he ordered.

"Okie dokie." the creature agreed, perking up a little.

As Red Velvet Cookie held the blue blob, Licorice Cookie walked up to get a better look. "What are you??"

"I'm Gooey!" Gooey introduced himself "Maybe? I think so."

"Yes, we can definitely see you are gooey." Licorice Cookie poked at Gooey, feeling his gooey texture.

"No, Gooey is my name! I think... I don't know what else it would be though. Pretty sure..."

Licorice Cookie and Red Velvet Cookie looked at each other.

"This one's not the smartest..."

"Yeah, but now that it's not trying to attack the Cakes, it is kinda cute." Red Velvet Cookie admitted.

Licorice Cookie nodded. "Yeah, he kinda reminds me of Rocky a little bit."

"What is going on here?!?"

Red Velvet Cookie- still holding Gooey- and Licorice Cookie turned to see whose voice that was.

"Oh." said Licorice Cookie "Hello Pomegranate Cookie."

Pomegranate Cookie stepped forward, fully entering the chamber. Her attire looking as red as ever. "Well? I demand an explanation!"

"Pomegranate Cookie! We found this creature among our soldiers. It calls itself 'Gooey.'" Red Velvet Cookie properly explained, standing straight and firm while presenting Gooey to her.

"Hi pretty lady!!" Gooey innocently greeted her, waving his tongue like a hand.

Pomegranate Cookie sneered at Gooey, who didn't seem to notice. "Where did you come from?" she asked him.

"I came from a picnic with my friends!" Gooey replied.

"How nice," Pomegranate Cookie sarcastically said "how did you get here though?"

"Ohhhhhh. I dunno, my friend's friend sneezed, and then a vortex appeared and sucked me and my friends up!"

The three Cookies looked at each other, then at Gooey again.

"Sorry, a vortex??" Licorice Cookie interrogated the blue blob. "Are you from another world?"

"I think so, unless I just got sent to another part of Popstar." Gooey answered, cross eyed "Is this Popstar?"

"No..." Red Velvet Cookie replied. (Well that explains why this creature looks so weird, yet I can sense a small bit of dark power within.)

"Oh, so me and my friends are in another world! Uh ohs!"

Pomegranate Cookie had a contemplative look on her face. "Hmm, we can help you get back home if you want." she offered.

Gooey smiled. "Ooh that would be extra super nice! I would love that! Thank you lady!"

Pomegranate Cookie's face showed no emotion. "You're welcome..."

Red Velvet Cookie looked at her, he didn't know what she was planning, but he knew she had a scheme up her sleeve.

"Do you think you could find my friends too?" Gooey requested "If they're lost too, I don't want them being sad. Unless they like being lost. Do they?"

"Uhh, sure!" said Licorice Cookie, following along with Pomegranate Cookie's act "Are they other little blobby creatures like you?"

"Oh no." Gooey told him "I'm the only Gooey. Or am I? But no, there aren't creatures like me. Except my Dark Matter siblings, but they're stinky so they don't count. Although I think they got sent here too."

Now that.

That caught Pomegranate Cookies interest.

"Dark Matter you say? Tell us more..."
