"Anyone else think it's kinda weird how there's food in the food world?" Bandana Dee questioned.
"Shhh!!!!" Magolor shushed him "I don't we should bring up that cookies are um... sustenance in our world."
Kirby tilted his head.
"Well if we got sent to a chicken world, we wouldn't want to tell the chickens we eat them would we?" Magolor told him.
Kirby nodded. "True. (Chicken IS tasty though, poyo.)
"Or that we eat eggs." Adeleine joked.
Magolor looked at her with half closed eyes and a semi annoyed expression."Very funny. But we're all in agreement we don't tell anyone about this right?"
Everyone nodded. "Right, one more secret to keep." Bandana Dee mentioned.
Elfilin looked at him. "What other secret are we keeping?"
"We'll tell you later." Adeleine promised.
"When?" asked Magolor.
Adeleine straightened up in her seat. "When we're not out in the open!"
No longer huddled together, the group just chatted until GingerBrave and the others came back. Carrying a variety of foods and sweets with them.
"We brought some of the yummiest food in the kingdom!" Strawberry Cookie claimed as she and Wizard Cookie set down plates of food on the table.
Magolor, intrigued, picked one up. "What's this?"
"It's a Star Jelly!" Wizard Cookie explained "They're not only tasty, they help us grow stronger."
Hearing that, Magolor brought it underneath his scarf/belt where Kirby always assumed his mouth was- if he had one that is.
As he chewed on it, Magolor's eyes grew more and more joyful. "Mmm!!! These are good!" he complimented, grabbing some more to eat.
Kirby pointed at a food that was shaped like a bear's head. "Is that a Bear Jelly?"
"Yup!" GingerBrave nodded "But I've got something else for you."
Upon seeing what GingerBrave was holding, Kirby's eyes and mouth went wide.
It was a slice of strawberry cake!
"Here you go!" GingerBrave smiled "Once slice of strawberry cake, just for y-"
GingerBrave didn't finish his sentence, as almost immediately as he set down the cake in front of Kirby, the pink puff engulfed the entire thing.
"Mmmm!!!" he gleefully exclaimed after he swallowed "Thank you GingerBrave!"
GingerBrave blinked. "Wow, you really were hungry! You practically inhaled that!"
The rest of Kirby's friends paused from eating and all chuckled.
"What's so funny?" Strawberry Cookie wondered.
"You wouldn't get it." Adeleine told her.
After chuckling a bit, Bandana Dee looked around and noticed something. "Hey, where's Custard Cookie III?"
"Oh he wanted to find other residents/tourists of the kingdom so he could introduce you to them." Wizard Cookie explained "Or rather, 'The king wishes to show his subjects the newcomers.'"
That little joke actually managed to make Magolor chuckle.
It didn't take long for Custard Cookie III to return, and he did, he brought lots of others with him.
