Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter Six

"I never did..."

"Adeleine has a cool power though!" Magolor mentioned.

"Ooh do you?" Herb Cookie asked.

"I mean," Adeleine scratched the side of her head "it's not that special. Others on my planet can do it."

"Show us! Show us!" Custard Cookie III begged.

"Well, I'll need a canvas."

At the mention of that, GingerBrave ran off, everyone staring in confusion. A minute or two later, he came back with two Sugar Gnomes, who were helping him carry a canvas and a canvas stand.

"Here ya go!" he said once the canvas stand was stood up and the blank canvas was placed on it.

Adeleine blinked, handed the golf bag to Bandana Dee, then walked up to the canvas. "Okay then."

She then brought out her paintbrush and painters palette, which miraculously still had fresh paint on it.

"Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should paint?"

"Umm..." Strawberry Cookie looked around, then pointed at a little bird-like creature that also kinda looked like a blueberry. "How about one of the Blueberry Birds?"

Adeleine nodded, then using her painting tools, proceeded to paint a perfect Blueberry Bird. Once it was finished, she waved her paintbrush away from the canvas and the painting Blueberry Bird emerged to life from the canvas and flew off.

Upon seeing that, GingerBrave and the rest of the Cookies gasped in wonder and surprise.

"Woah!!" Custard Cookie III exclaimed "You can bring artwork to life?! That's amazing!!!"

Adeleine giggled, then put her art supplies away. "Thank you."

Wizard Cookie's exposed eye was sparkling "That's some very impressive magic indeed!"

"Oh, this isn't magic." Adeleine explained "It's just a power me and other artists can do. If Kirby had the artist copy ability, he could do this too."

Wizard Cookie raised his eyebrow. "You kidding? With the way you waved your paintbrush like a wand? That my friend is some pure magic."

Adeleine blinked. "Huh, I never thought about it that way."

"Regardless, you all have some awesome powers!" GingerBrave complimented "I can't wait to see more of them!"

Kirby smiled. "And I can't wait to show you what powers the rest of our friends can do!"

"...Once we find them of course."

"Right, we'll get to work on that!" GingerBrave reassured him "For now though, the day's almost up, so everyone can chill and enjoy the kingdom!"

Adeleine nodded and sat back down in her seat. "I like the sound of that."

Speaking of sounds, everyone suddenly heard a noise that sounded like a stomach growling from hunger. Everyone turned to see that the noise was coming from Magolor.

Magolor looked flustered. "Sorry! Guess I'm hungrier than I thought."

"Oh right! Here we'll get you guys some food!" said GingerBrave, he then looked down at the two Sugar Gnomes that helped him earlier "You think you can help us get some good food?"

The two nodded, and followed GingerBrave, Wizard Cookie, Strawberry Cookie, and Custard Cookie III as they went off to grab some food for Kirby and friends.

Herb Cookie smiled and did a little nod. "I'm gonna head back to my garden, wanna make sure my sprouts are doing okay."

Once Kirby and his friends were done waving Herb Cookie goodbye, the five of them huddled closer together.
