GingerBrave then grabbed Wizard Cookie by the arm. "C'mon Wizard Cookie!"

"Oh come on! I just regained my breath!"

While GingerBrave and Wizard Cookie ran off to go get help, Strawberry Cookie brought the group to an outdoor sitting area and showed them a roll cake garden table they could take a seat at.

"Okay, you guys take a seat, and try to relax and calm down..." she said to the group, but also to herself as she was panicking. "I'll just... I'll..."

Strawberry Cookie looked around for a solution and spotted another Cookie- who had green hair like it was made from plants- walking by. Strawberry Cookie immediately recognized him.

"Ooh! Here we go! I'll be right back!!"

She then ran up to the passerby Cookie, waved her arms in front of him to get his attention, and after quickly talking to him, the two ran off.

The table had four seats for everyone except for Elfilin, but since he was still being held by Kirby, it didn't matter.

As they all took their seats, Kirby was growing increasingly concerned for his small friend. "His shaking is getting worse! Does anyone have any blankets or something to cover him up in?"

Adeleine and Magolor searched their pockets, while Bandana thought for a moment before a lightbulb went off in his head.

"I have just the thing!" he then pulled out a blue cloth "This is a spare bandana I carry around with me in case something manages to pull off the one I wear. It should suffice for a temporary blanket."

He handed it to Kirby, who gently wrapped up Elfilin in it.

"T-thank you..." Elfilin coughed.

"Elfilin, what the heck happened?! When did you get sick?" Magolor demanded to know.

Elfilin sniffled a bit before answering "I don't know! (*Cough!*) All I know is one moment I was asleep, next moment I woke up and I was in the clutches of a giant plant monster!"

"Okay, did it cause you to get sick, or were you feeling unwell before then?"

"Maybe, it did use some kind of weird powder attack on me to try to get me to stop struggling, but I wasn't feeling that great before then."

"You weren't??" Kirby asked "When did you start feeling unwell?"

Elfilin sniffled some more. "I-I did feel a little uneasy this morning before we ended up here, but I t-thought it was just allergies!"

Adeleine reached out and patted his head. "No sweetie, you were definitely catching a sickness."

"And from the looks of it, that Cookievorous Plant thing made it worse." Bandana Dee concluded.

Magolor scratched his head. "Why didn't you stay home if you weren't feeling well?"

"Well, Kirby was really excited for the picnic and I knew he wanted me to come, s-so I didn't want to let him down, a-and I figured I'd be fine."

"Aw Elfilin..." Kirby held him closer "I would have been fine with you missing out on the picnic if you needed to feel better. Here, next time you're not feeling well, you can stay in bed and eat all the soup you want, okay?"

Despite being weak, Elfilin managed to form a happy face. "Okay Kirby."

"My only question is, why did you sneezing cause a vortex to open up?" Adeleine pondered.

"Maybe him being sick caused his immune system to act up, resulting in his powers going haywire?" Magolor guessed.

Elfilin let out another sneeze, which made everyone flinch, luckily nothing else happened.
