"As tempting as it is, no."

I say to my fox companion, Kakashi's gaze lifting from the sketch to land upon me. His hand raising to rub the back of his head.

"Naruto. Now you've gotten that out your system, can I have my sketchbook back? I'd take it forcefully but I think they'd have an issue was that. Considering I'm so dangerous and all that."

"You're damn right we would." The Sage responds, his voice a little more serious than before. His eyes no longer lustful but more... I'm not entirely sure, threatening maybe? I would've been more worried about it if I hadn't just heard the guy cry out like a five year old.

"What the hell is wrong with everyone? Im sick to death of people treating me like I'm a damn villain! I've done nothing but be nice to everyone in this village and yet you two think that I have a personal interest in him?"

I start to get angry now as I gesture to Naruto.

"All I wanted was some food, supplies and a damn nap under the tree over there! The kid keeps finding me, what, you think that because he has the nine tailed fox in him that I suddenly have it out for the guy?! No!"

Kit's ears are back as I yell at the two grown men. Their expressions souring as they slowly move to grab their Kunai.

"Seriously?" I say, sounding exasperated.

"How did you know that he has the fox spirit inside of him?"

I blink at them, looking at the kid before I see Kakashi move Naruto behind the two of them.

"Now wait a minute, let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I have no interest in that demon fox, he's an asshole who love's destruction."

I say matter of fact. Only causing the two of them to get more defensive.

"I don't want a fight here guys, please don't start one."

I hold up my hands in a 'I come in peace' kind of way but unfortunately, the horse had already bolted from the stable and Kakashi was already making a move against me.

"Kakashi-Sensei! Stop!"

Naruto yells as his teacher tries to attack me with a Kunai, my body dodging each swipe as I hold my hands behind my back. Kit growling as I give him a 'stay' look.

"Don't get involved Kid. She probably with the Akatsuki."

The Sage holds the boy back as I continue to avoid Kakashi's attacks. My naturally blue Irises glowing orange now as I move my hand to the Jonin's chest, pressing my bloody palm against his vest as I throw him backwards. The ninja twisting in the air before landing in a crouch, his shoes scraping along the earth before coming to a stop.

"Her eyes Kakashi..."

The sage yells as Kakashi straightens his stance, his hands lifting to pull up his headband to reveal the other eye. Responding to the Sage.

"I see them."

"I don't know who the Akatsuki are..." I say truthfully. "Please, let's just talk about this before someone gets hurt. I don't want to fight you!"

I plead with them as I look at the scar on the jonins eye, a gasp escaping me when he opens it - revealing a dark red iris. A sharingun... Great. Can this day get any bloody worse? It started off so well.

"Then how did you know about Naruto!?"

Kakashi yells at me now, his calm demeanor disappearing as I clench my jaw.

"I just do..."

"Not good enough."

Kakashi sprints forward, faster than before as I dodge out of the way, leaping high into the air as I look around for him.

"Where did he..."

My eyes widen as I bring my arms up, his Kunai slashing against them as he appears above me. Slamming a kick into my abdomen that sends me spiraling to the ground, my body slamming against the earth as it crumbles beneath me, the air rushing out of my lungs as I groan.

"Ugggh...."

I hear Kit getting involved now as I try and catch my breath, my arms wrapping around my ribs as I roll up onto my knees. My eyes looking to see Naruto running toward me, the Sage failing to grab him as Kakashi starts to do some hand signs.

"Fire-style! Fireball Jutsu!"

"Naruto don't!"

Kakashi had already started to breathe the giant fireball before he realized Naruto was in the line of fire, my eyes immediately widening as I felt the heat approach me, my eyes panicking for the welfare of the boy.

"Kit!" I yell, Kit already knowing what to do as he leaps up to hit the Jonin off course as I dive toward the kid, my hands pushing him down as I lean over him, using my body as a shield as the fireball finally hits us. A painful scream escaping my lips as the flames explode against us and the ground.
