chapter 9-A trip

[A few days later]

Carmen's pov☆

It was getting colder outside due to winter getting closer and My mother advised me and Jade to get our flu shots before they run out,Jade was not having any of that.

"Jade come on baby,you'll be fine its just a small prick." I try consoling Jade who is rocking back and forth on my bathroom floor.

"You don't understand Carmen it's not just a little prick they put stuff inside you,it could be morphine." She whimpers and I sigh and I rub circles into her back to help her calm down.

"Jade why don't you like needles huh?" I question the girl who is now sitting in my lap.

"When I was in the physc ward they had to sedate me alot because I would have crazy outbursts when I couldn't sleep,and I kicked and screamed because no one likes being held down and given drugs." Jade sniffles as she starts to cry.

"Aww baby,don't cry it's fine,I promise you it'll be alright." I console her and she seems to calm down a bit.

"Will you be there?" she questions softly and I run my fingers through her hair.

"Of course I'll be there and you can hold my hand too." I reassure her and she smiles at me.

"Now are you ready to go do this?" I ask her and she nods while climbing out of my lap.

"Good now let's go." I say getting up off the floor and Jade follows me to the car.

we were now at the doctor's office waiting for the doctor to come and give us the shots .

I had given Jade a stress ball to play with to keep her calm.

"Alright girls,who's going frist?" the doctor questions while looks between me and Jade.

"She'll go first." my mother says pointing towards me and jade stares down the doctor as he finishes giving me the shot.

"It wasn't that bad Jade you'll be fine,you can even hold my hand." I say and she nods before gripping my hand and staring at the doctor silently.

"Jade eyes on me." I say sternly and she looks at me and doesn't take  her eyes off me until the doctor finishes.

"There you go jade,see it wasn't that bad." I say and she looks like she's internally screaming.

"Well you girls are done,you can go to the front now." the doctor says and we walk out of the room to the frount.

Jade still seems dazed as we drive home and as soon as she gets upstairs to my room she flops onto my bed and pulls me in and holds me tightly.

"Jade?" I question her actions and she strokes my hair and I look at her confused.

"I was so fucking scared Carmen." Jade finally speaks before breaking down crying.

After about thirty minutes of her crying she finally fell asleep.

I tucked her in and got her a glass of water for when she wakes up.

I climb back into bed with her and watch as her body slowly rises and falls.

"A big softie is what you are." I sigh to myself before moving hair out of her face and kissing her forehead.

"Mine." Jade says while unconsciously wrapping her arms around me.

"I know love I know." I say before drifting off to sleep.

Jade and I woke up about an hours later and as usual jade chugged the water down.

After a while my mum called us down for lunch and Jade being Jade tore her food up and cleaned the plate.
