A: Oh, really? I think we can. Don't make us tell you again. Stand up, now.
Maya and I looked at each other and, without a word, nodded, looked back at Dad and Rupp, and made a run for it. We know that doing so automatically worsened the punishment, but neither of us cared. All we cared about right then was getting away from our pissed-off fathers.
A: Brianna Marie Brown and Maya Louise Rupp, get back here right now. You don't want your punishment to be worse, do you?
They eventually caught us after a while. Rupp grabbed my hand, turned me around and delivered 5 really hard smacks to my backside. I saw dad do the same with Maya. Then they brought us to the couch for what we thought was our entire punishment. But, boy, were we wrong. That was only the beginning...
