Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter Five

Elfilin managed to hide behind Kirby, who was protecting Wizard Cookie with another reflective force attack. GingerBrave and Strawberry Cookie managed to dodge some of the thorns, but several of them managed to hit the two, causing some pain, yet the damage was not severe enough to warrant any injuries.

"Ow!" Strawberry Cookie yelped as one of the projectile thorns grazed her arm. Running as fast as they could, she and GingerBrave joined in on hiding behind Kirby for cover. "How long is it gonna keep doing this?!"

"Hopefully until it gets tired!" Wizard Cookie answered "Still, this is getting a bit overwhelming!"

Kirby himself started to get tired from waving the mirror ability wand so much to keep the reflective force up, but he knew he couldn't give up and kept at it to protect everyone.

Eventually, the Giant Cookievorous Plant finally got tired from shooting so many thorns and stopped to regain some stamina. Using this as an opportunity, Kirby used his Mirror Body Ring attack and created several mirror projections of himself as they all dashed towards the monster.

Elfilin cheered for Kirby, while the Cookie trio stared in amazement. "Your ability can do that too?!?" GingerBrave exclaimed.

"Yeah! My bad! I forgot to mention!" Kirby called back.

Shaking its body, the now re-energized Giant Cookievorous Plant stared at Kirby and his projections. Not knowing which one was real, it stared slamming its fines onto the each of them, however it kept hitting a projection each time and was unable to stop the real Kirby from reaching it.

Kirby then used the mirror ability's cut attack and managed to cut off one of the monster's vines, it roaring in pain as he did so.

The Giant Cookievorous Plant tried to slam another vine onto Kirby, but Kirby nimbly dodged in time and made five more projections that went upward and smacked the monster's bud area, sending some petals flying off.

Seeing that the creature started to look dizzy, GingerBrave knew this was the right time to strike. "Let's finish this fight!" he confidently said to his friends, who nodded in agreement and charged at the monster with him.

Jumping up, GingerBrave did a dash attack at the Giant Cookievorous Plant's face, making contact and dealing damage. Wizard Cookie hit the monster with one more lightning strike, while Strawberry Cookie did a spin attack with her lollipop, managing to hit the monster several times.

Severely damaged, the Giant Cookievorous Plant tried one last attack to try and fight off its attackers, unleashing another powerful energy projectile.

Kirby managed to create a reflective force just in time however, and reflected the attack straight back to the opponent, hitting it and finally knocking the monster out, it letting out one final cry as it fell to the ground defeated.

Approaching it cautiously, GingerBrave poked the Giant Cookievorous Plant with his candy cane to make sure it was really defeated. After he got no response from poking it, he jumped up and down victoriously. "We did it guys! It's defeated!"

"Yay!!!" Kirby cheered as he started doing his victory dance, Elfilin joining in on it, albeit a little slower and weaker. Once the two were done dancing, they did a little pose.

"Ha ha, what was that?" GingerBrave chuckled.

"That was my victory dance!" Kirby explained "I do that whenever I achieve a great victory like defeating a tough enemy!"

GingerBrave smiled "Aww, that's both adorable and cool! You think you could teach it to me?"

"Sure thing! We'd be happy to show you how to do it!" Kirby nodded.
