Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter Five

"That could work!" GingerBrave agreed, then looked down at Kirby "We'll save your friend Kirby! We got this!"

Kirby nodded confidently.

"Okay," said Strawberry Cookie, holding her lollipop with a mixture of nervousness and slight confidence "L-let's do this!"

With that, Kirby and Wizard Cookie proceeded to run towards the Giant Cookievorous Plant, while Wizard Cookie shouted a taunt at it. "Hey you! Look over here you giant weed!"

The Giant Cookievorous Plant stopped trying to terrorize whatever was hiding in the bushes and turned to Wizard Cookie and Kirby, letting out a deep sounding hiss.

"Let go of my friend!!!" Kirby shouted.

Elfilin, who was still struggling in the plant monster's grasp, saw Kirby and his face immediately lit up. "Kirby!!! Kirby you're here!" he cried, his voice sounding weak.

The vine that was gripping Elfilin tightened and he winced in pain. "Help!!!"

"Don't worry Elfilin! We'll save you!" Kirby promised.

Raising one of its thorny vines, the Giant Cookievorous Plant slammed it in front of Kirby and Wizard Cookie, who managed to dodge out of the way. The thorns flying off of the vine as it slammed onto the ground, new ones growing in their place.

Wizard Cookie started firing magic attacks at the monster, while Kirby started using his mirror ability wand to create a reflective force that shielded the two from the thorns that went flying at them. A few thorns managed to be reflected back at the plant monster, causing some damage as they pierced its stem.

The Cookievorous plant hissed in fury, and fired a ranged energy attack at Wizard Cookie.

"Look out!" Kirby shouted as he stepped in front of Wizard Cookie to protect him. Using his guard, Kirby created a mirror shield that reflected the energy attack and sent it flying off as it dissipated.

"Thanks!" said Wizard Cookie, as he fired a lightning strike at the Giang Cookievorous Plant.

As the fight progressed, GingerBrave and Strawberry Cookie managed to sneak behind the monster, and approached the vine that was holding Elfilin. Elfilin saw the two Cookies and struggled as he tried to free himself.

"Hang on little guy! We're gonna get you out of there!" GingerBrave said, not too loudly so the Giant Cookievorous Plant wouldn't hear them.

Elfilin struggled some more. "Please hurry!"

Carefully, GingerBrave jumped up and used the curved end of his candy cane to grip onto the vine that was holding Elfilin, and as he went back down from the jump, brought most of the vine down to the ground, causing the vine to bend.

The Giant Cookievorous Plant took notice of this, and turned to face GingerBrave and Strawberry Cookie. Preparing to fire another energy attack at them.

Only for Wizard Cookie to hit it in the face with another lightning strike, drawing the monster's attention back to him and Kirby.

Strawberry Cookie, with all her might, slammed her lollipop onto the vine, causing the Cookievorous to let out a cry of both surprise and pain, loosing its grip on Elfilin, which managed to let him squirm just enough that he managed to escape and flew away from the monster.

"Kirby!!" Elfilin called out as he flew towards his friend.

Kirby smiled widely seeing Elfilin free, but dropped the smile when he remembered the fight wasn't over. "Elfilin! Take cover!"

The enraged Giant Cookievorous Plant let out a furious roar and started firing its thorns off its body, repeating the processes as new thorns kept regenerating onto it.
