Wizard Cookie tilted his head "Ah, so if I were to hit you with a lightning strike, you would be able to reflect back to me?"
"Why would you hit Kirby with a lightning strike?" asked GingerBrave.
"Wha- I didn't say I was going to! It was just a hypothetical scenario!" Wizard Cookie said in his defense.
"He is right though, I can most likely reflect lightning." Kirby nodded.
"That's neat." GingerBrave complimented "What else can the mirror ability do-"
"G-GINGERBRAVE!" Strawberry Cookie suddenly exclaimed.
"Wh-what's wrong Strawberry Cookie?!?"
Shaking, Strawberry Cookie pointed ahead. "I-I think I found the Cookievorous Plant!!!"
GingerBrave and Kirby ran up to Strawberry Cookie and Wizard Cookie and saw what she was pointing at. GingerBrave's eyes going wide. "Oh my..."
Up ahead of them, was a giant and monstrous looking plant creature, with crimson petals, spiked and large thorns all across its stems and some of its vines, and in the flower bud area at the center of the petals, there were sharp looking eyes and a sinister smile.
Kirby blinked at the creature "Is that really one of those monsters?"
"Yes, but they're usually not this big!" said Wizard Cookie. "And the ones that are usually aren't this monstrous looking! This must be a powerful variant or a new type of Cookievorous Plant!"
Upon looking closer at the monster, Kirby noticed it was using one of its vines to try and terrorize something hidden in a bush. Another thing that caught Kirby's eye though, was that it was holding something in one of its non spiked vines. Narrowing his eyes, Kirby gasped when he saw what the monster was holding.
Wrapped up in the vine and struggling to escape, was Elfilin!!! He had been turned into a Cookie too, but instead of looking crispy he still looked kinda fluffy. Perhaps his fur was replaced with frosting? The inside of his large ears looked a little more wavy than usual, and his tail was more curled, kinda like a roll.
Seeing his friend in the clutches of the plant monster, Kirby attempted to recklessly charge at it.
GingerBrave quickly stopped him. "Woah! Kirby! What are you doing??"
"That monster has my friend!!" Kirby exclaimed.
"Oh no!" said Strawberry Cookie. "Poor thing!"
"We gotta save him!" Kirby insisted.
"Hold on a second!" Wizard Cookie stated "We can't just charge at the monster! We need a strategy."
Kirby looked towards the plant monster that was holding his friend captive. A dismayed expression on his face as he looked. "Can we make one quickly?!"
"I know you're worried, but be patient." Wizard Cookie requested "Let's see, from our experiences with fighting Cookievorous Plants, we know that they usually use ranged attacks, yet this one has a lot of thorns on its vines, so it might try and slam them onto us for an attack."
"Yeah that could be a problem, hmm... If it tries to hit us with ranged attacks, could Kirby reflect them back at it?" GingerBrave hypothesized.
"Yes! I can do that!" Kirby agreed.
"And Wizard Cookie, since most of your magic attacks are ranged, you can hit it from afar, while me and Strawberry Cookie try to get close to it!"
"Good idea, me and Kirby can attack it from afar, and while we're keeping it occupied, you and Strawberry Cookie can sneak over to it and try and free Kirby's friend." Wizard Cookie strategized.
