Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter Five

"It's okay! I don't mind! I've got plenty of friends that are of a wide variety and I don't feel different around them! But hey, if you do need a word for my species, you may call me a Star Warrior!"

"Ooh, Star Warrior?" said GingerBrave "Nice! Very epic!"

Kirby nodded. "Yeah! I got that title from my friend/mentor Meta Knight! He's a Star Warrior too! Though I'm not sure if we're the same species. We might be? I don't know... Anyway, Meta Knight has taught me a lot about strength and power! He's got a lot of knowledge of the universe and Popstar! He's very wise and very mysterious!"

"Wow, this Meta Knight guy sounds impressive." Wizard Cookie stated "Hope we get to meet him."

Kirby stopped walking "Yeah... I wonder where he ended up..."

GingerBrave, taking a break from leading the party, took a few steps back and stood in front of Kirby. Giving him a head pat. "Hey, we'll find him and your other friends! I promise."

Kirby looked up at GingerBrave with a wide smile. "Thank you GingerBrave!"

Kirby held out his little hand, which GingerBrave took hold of. "You're welcome Kirby!"

The two walked ahead to catch up to Strawberry Cookie and Wizard Cookie. While doing so, GingerBrave looked down at Kirby once again.

"Speaking of your friends though, what species is Adeleine? Was she a Cookie in your world? She looks the least different out of all of you."

"Oh Adeleine? She's uh... I forget what her species is called. She's the only one I've met." Kirby scratched at part of his mirror ability hat, trying to think.

"Is that so? Hm." GingerBrave had a ponderous expression on his face "Wonder what she is then..."

Kirby tilted his head at GingerBrave, he could tell he wanted to say something else, but looked hesitant.

Shaking his head, GingerBrave looked down at Kirby again. "So, how do your powers work? Magolor mentioned you're pretty powerful and that what you're wearing is called a 'copy ability?'"

"Ah, my copy ability is this special power I have where-"

Kirby was about to explain how he inhales enemies or their powers to get them, but then remembered he couldn't do that in this world. And while GingerBrave and his friends did seem nice, he probably should ask Adeleine or Bandana if he should tell them about the staff. He could tell them about how he could get powers from essences though.

"where if I make contact with something powerful or filled with essence, I can change my look and get a different kind of power." Kirby continued "And a different hat.~"

"You get these powers from essences?" asked Wizard Cookie "Interesting, we have materials called Soul Essence. We use them to help power other Cookies up."

"Ooh, cool." said Kirby (Spelltwister Cookie mentioned this, it's called Soul Essence huh? Does that mean they're made of... nevermind.) "You think it can power me up too?"

"If you get powers from essences, then I'd say yes!" said GingerBrave "If you need any to power up, we'd be happy to share!"

"That would be nice." Kirby smiled (I've kinda already got a way to get copy abilities though.)

GingerBrave patted Kirby on the head again, then fixed his mirror ability hat, which was slightly crooked. "What kind of copy ability do you have now?"

"Oh, this is my Mirror Ability. It's capable of reflecting projectile attacks, like a fireball or something along those lines."
