(Artemis' pov)
'that should be everything' I note and leave the cafe
Once I'm walking I text Shino and Rikku that I am on my way home, then go to the cafe group chat to let them know the is all locked up
There wasn't too many people in the streets but that's most likely due to it getting dark
I hum as I walk back home, it's something I picked up from Shino
"HEY GET IN THE ALLY!" One of the two people that had guns said
I put my arms up and backed which led to an ally which is what they wanted
I was scared, I wanted to get my phone from my bag but they had their guns aimed at me
"Drop the bag" said the second guy
I took off the bag and placed it on the floor
"What's in it?" Asked the first guy
"J-just my phone a-and my SketchBook w-with a pencil" I say once again scared out of my mind
"Do you have anything on you?" Asked the first guy again
"N-no sir" I say
He used his head to signal the other guy to pick up my bag
As he went for my bag a shadow punched him right in the face which made him use a hand to hold his face and to back up
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" The first guy yelled at me to answer
"T-that wasn't me" I said. I wasn't lying that wasn't me at all
Soon another Shadow came from behind the person wrapped around him throwing onto the floor and did the same with the second person
Soon a person rised from the shadows, he had black hair, purple eyes and a black suit on
He looked at the two people he had taken down and walked forward, he picked up my bag and handed it to me
"Thanks?" I say to the man
He looks me up and down "artemis? Is that you kid?"
I was in shock on how he knew me "y-yes"
He walked towards me and placed a hand on my shoulder and one on my cheek "oh my boy, I've been wanting to see you"
I looked him up and down "y-your one of the people that broke out of jail"
"Yes... I couldn't stay... I didn't know whag happened to you" he said
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Artemis, your my son" he says
"W-what?" I asked
He sighed "I am your father I missed you so much... After what your mother did"
"M-my mom? What did she do?" I asked
He gave a small laugh before saying "your mother put me in jail, she isn't a good person, she did bad... Horrible things to you"
"S-she did?" I asked, tears in my eyes
He lifted my hand and looked at my arm "yes, I mean look at what she ahd done to you"
I took my hand away from me snd looked at it myself "she did this?"
"She did many things, though I am still wanted and can't stay our long" he says
"Right" I say
"Do you have paper and something to write with?" He asked
I ripped out a piece of paper from my SketchBook and handed him my pencil
"Here is my number so we can speak soon" he says giving me the paper and pencil
"Okay" I say smiling
"You should get going" he says
I take my phone from my bag and see the texts and missed calls "o-oh god, y-yeah I should"
I run off waving to him, he waves back
(Zack's pov)
I stopped waving and dropped the smile once Artemis left
I walked over to the second guy and kicked him "get up I didn't hit you to hard" I looked at the first guy "you too"
Soon the two are now up on there feet
"Here" I say giving them the money "that should be everything"
They both count it and nod there heads "pleasure during business with you" said the first guy and they both left
After they did, I went back into the shadows to get home
