"What makes sense?" Artemis asked, he was wearing the outfit he bought from the mall plus some long white gloves
"Love the outfit!" Rikku exclaims
Artemis gives a small laugh before saying "you too rikku"
Rikku was wearing a spaghetti strap blue dress with a white jacket that fell off her shoulders
"T-thank you" she says
Artemis walked over to us aka by the island "so what are we doing today?"
"Jake wanted us to join him at the skate park" Rikku says
"Oh? I don't have a skate board" says Artemis
"We don't either, I think Jake is going to borrow some from a friend or some like that" I explained
"And after that we are gonna go eat!" Rikku says happily
"That does sound like fun" says artemis
"Yeah but you two should be careful, you both are wearing white, especially you Arty" I say
Artemis looks at his outfit and nervously laughs
"Arty I have a question" Rikku says though she seems down about it?
"What's up?" He asks
"Why do you wear gloves with every outfit" she asks
That's not a bad question ever since we met Artemis he has never shown his hands or arms
"O-oh" Artemis says looking down
This worries Rikku "y-you don't have to answer" she says quickly
"N-no your fine" he says "I trust you both and our friends
He removed his long white gloves and placed them onto the table and then walked back over to us
His hands up to his elbow was covered in black, I walked closer and picked up one of his hands

"Arty..." I say worried "what happened?"
I look up at him, he looks away then back at the two of us before saying "I don't know"
"W-what?" Rikku questioned
"I have had this since I could remember" he pulled back his hand
"Why did you hide it?" Rikku asked
Arty held onto one arm while letting the other stay against his body "at first I didn't but then kids started to make fun of me and adults didn't want me due to my quirk being a 'villains' quirk and this stuff"
Artemis had tears in his eyes, both me and Rikku hugged him and he hugged back
We stayed like that for a bit before letting go, when we did I asked "do you still want to go out?"
"Yeah" he smiled "this isn't a bad thing it just shows I'm getting better right? Opening up"
Both me and rikku smile and nod "so no gloves at the hang out or?" Rikku asked
Artemis seemed nervous, he took a deep breath before speaking "yeah, I think I'm ready plus I will have my friends by my side"
He smiled and so did we. We all made sure we had our stuff before leaving to meet up with the others
