Wei Ying woke up earlier than Lan Zhan all exited and full of energy, today was Lan Zhan's birthday and he had been waiting for weeks to finally give his present to him, he was so impatient that he immediately got up as quietly as he could and got dressed. He had bought something a little more fancy for today, it was a little tight but not too much, just the perfect amount to show off his curves and slim waist. He had never worn something like that but he wanted to try out something new and surprise Lan Zhan, he was planning on confessing his feelings to Lan Zhan tonight so he wanted to look good . After he got dressed he went outside and went towards the big rock where he had hid his present and went back inside and sat down and waited for the older to wake up.
After a few minutes, Wei Ying noticed that the older was starting to move and then he opened his eyes, sitting up in his bed and the putting out his hand to search for Wei Ying while he was still half asleep, opening his eyes when he felt that the younger was not there. He looked up to see Wei Ying silently laughing at his cuteness and jumped on him.
" Happy birthday!!!!!". He shouted in excitment as he hugged the older tightly, Lan Zhan hugging him back in surprise and then smiled, normally only his brother cared enough to wish him a happy birthday but asides from him no one else did anything so this meant a lot to him." Aw, thank you". He said as Wei Ying moved back and ran to where he was sitting before, taking the box and walking up to Lan Zhan, sitting next to him as he gave him the box, the older looked at him confused." It's your present silly". Said Wei Ying as he noticed the confusion on Lan Zhan's face.
Lan Zhan looked back at the box in surprise, he had never gotten a present so he didn't know what to do now. He was feeling a whole bunch of emotions at the moment, he was flustered, happy, shy and extremely touched that Wei Ying had taken his time to do something for him and had put thought to it. Lan Zhan could feel the tears in his eyes come up as he tried to hold them back, which Wei Ying noticed and got a little worried." Are you ok Lan Zhan? I didn't mean to make you cry". He said as he hugged him again." I'm not sad, no one has ever cared like you did". He said as he let the tears out and wiped them.
Wei Ying pulled back and looked at him in surprise, had the older never gotten a present before? Even as a child? The thought saddened Wei Ying but he wasn't going to ask him about it now, so he hugged him once again and said." Well, better get used to it now". He said smiling as the older returned the smile and took the box in his hands and looked at Wei Ying." What do i do now?". He asked as he looked at the box again and then back at Wei Ying." You open it, of course". Said Wei Ying as he watched Lan Zhan open it as if a bomb would be inside of the box, he closed his eyes as he took out the item that was in the box and when he opened them to see what it was and looked at it with big surprised eyes and smiled softly.
It was a beautiful picture of the two, they had been on a walk in the evening and had sat down on a cliff and had watched the sunset together. It was one of their most beautiful memories together and that day had meant a lot to Lan Zhan. He also noticed a note at one of the corners, he took it and began reading it.' Dear Lan Zhan, happy birthday! I hope you like your present, i made it for you❤️ there is also another surprise for you tonight but until then I wanted to tell you a couple of things: you are the most amazing, kind and thoughtful person that i've ever met and i'm grateful to have you in my life. Don't ever change, i love ya - Wei Ying❤️❤️❤️
Lan zhan had tears in his eyes as he finished reading the letter, looked back at Wei Ying and hugged him tightly." I love you too Wei Ying". He said as he snuggled his head in the younger man's neck. They stayed like that for what felt like hours before they finally let go of each other, Wei Ying wiped the tears away from his face." Your gonna make me cry too Lan Zhan". He said as they both chuckled. They stayed in bed for another hour before Wei Ying felt himself getting hungry, and so did Lan Zhan." Should we go eat?". Asked the younger man as Lan Zhan nodded. They both got up and walked out of the room together as they went towards the eating hall and ate peacefully.
