Wei Ying jumped from surprise from hearing someone calling his name and got scared. Who could be calling his name?. Moreover how could someone possibly be here when there was no one that could live here apart from Wei Ying apparently." Wei Ying". Called the voice again, this time louder which made Wei Ying shiver, he was now officially terrified. He didn't have any way of defending himself and he was in burial mounds, a place where no one comes out alive and he has no idea what he was doing or where he was going, so hearing this unknown voice calling him gave him all sorts of ideas on what it could be.

But he wasn't one to coward in fear, so he gathered his courage and pretended like he wasn't about to shit bricks." Who are you?". He asked in the strongest voice he could bring out." Wei Ying! It's me, did you forget already?". Asked the voice as it became clearer that it came from behind another cavern that was right in front of him. Wei Ying tried to recognize the voice that seemed vaguely familiar now that it mentioned knowing him but he still couldn't put a face to the voice of the person calling him.

He stepped forward to see a little better but he couldn't see anyone, he grabbed the flute that he was carrying to have something to hit in case the person had bad intentions and slowly walked in the cavern.

It was total darkness, not even the slightest bit of sunlight came thru and Wei Ying couldn't see anything or anyone but he could certainly feel someone else's presence." So you decided to come see me, too bad you can't see anything in here, do you want to go outside?". Asked the voice as Wei Ying heard footsteps coming towards him. He backed away and went outside again, not knowing what to expect, but the closer the person came, the more he started to recognize the person." W-Wen Ning?". Asked Wei Ying as he saw the boy immerge from the shadows. The latter nodded as he smiled and walked over to the other boy who was still standing there in shock.

" How are you here?". He asked, still in shock but also happy that his friend was ok and alive but also very concerned for the boy and confused on how he was even here." Well I was thrown here after they found out that I helped you save young master Jiang and instead of falling straight to the ground I was caught by smoke and i walked until I found this place, but why are you here Wei-gongzi?". Asked Wen Ning after he finished telling his story." Same as you I guess... Wen Chao found me and tried to make me talk but i refused and so he threw me here some days ago". He responded as Wen Ning looked at him in concern." Are you ok Wei-gongzi? It must of hurt a lot". He said as he looked at Wei Ying sympathetically." Well i'm ok now". Said Wei Ying.

Wen Ning nodded in relief as he sat down on a rock that was near him, Wei Ying sitting on another rock opposite of the slightly younger boy.

" How long have you been here?". Asked Wei Ying." I don't know, maybe a couple of weeks". Answered Wen Ning." So what do we do know? Mean i don't have my golden core anymore, just this flute thing". Said Wei Ying as he looked worried at how they will get out of here." Do you have any ideas on how we could get out of here". Asked Wei Ying." Well I mean we could go out through the back". Answered Wen Ning as if it was the most normal thing to say." We- We can go, like get out from here that easily?". Asked Wei Ying in shock." Well yes, that is what I have been doing these last few weeks, I didn't want them to find me so I found a secret way of getting out, it leads to a small village". Said Wen Ning to Wei Ying, who was still standing there in shock.

" So we can go now?". Asked Wei Ying, making Wen Ning nod his head to indicate yes." Well then why haven't you gone back?". Asked Wei Ying." Well I don't want to be seen by young master Went and also i don't know if you've heard Wei-gongzi, but a war has broken out at nightless city, i'm to scared to go there, I know Wen Qing told me not to go there ever if i can escape so i stayed here". Answered Wen Ning to Wei Ying, who obviously hadn't known that there was a war at nightless city." What war?". Asked Wei Ying." Well all the clans have gathered to kill the Wen's". Explained Wen Ning." All the clans? Do you know if Lan Zhan is ok?". Asked Wei Ying as he began to het worried about the older male.

" Well, Wei-gongzi you know that young master Lan is extremely strong and very skilled, he seems to be doing fine, especially for someone who is in the middle of a war". Said Wen Ning to Wei Ying's biggest relief.

He had always worried about Lan Zhan, and now that he couldn't see him anymore he was even more worried about the older. He missed him, a lot.
