Chapter 20

I'm so excited to finally kiss her .

I got her a bouquet of roses since the roses in our garden haven't yet bloomed. The moment I stepped out from my car everything seemed very odd.

Sensing the energy , I quickly grabbed the gun and slowly moved towards the entrance. Not a single soul was here, my mind flared with a thought as I quickly took steps in search of her.

On the counter what seemed to be cake batter was on the floor and the bowl was broken as if. Immediately seeing the note near it I quickly opened it.

You can never take her away from me.
— Her owner.

This motherfucker,  I crumpled up the note , quickly calling my  second in command.

" I need you to come at my house. Now !" .

I tried to calm myself,  but looking st her preparations for my return.

Looking at the crumpled envelope,  a drop of my tear , then another , a puddle followed it ,I started bawling my eyes out .

My Alaya. Where are you my darling?

A sharp source of light entered my eyes.

It took me a couple of blinks to see my surroundings .

No.No .NO.

How could it be the same room ?

When I tried to move my hands , the handcuffs stopped me . NO .

NO.NO.NO.NO.

The familiar voice that haunted my dreams spoke from the dark .

" What did you think baby girl? That you could go away from me ? "

He laughed his heinous laugh and I couldn't help but cry.

Where are you Jake? Why did you leave me ?

"What do you mean you can't track her ?"
Since , jake was the only one who knew about the tracker in her ring , he thought this might he'll him but.

" Don , wherever Regina is it seems whoever has abducted her has kept her in a place where trackers are not traceable. The fucker has got some brain about that ".

" Now is not the compliment HIM . GO AND FUCKING FIND HIM , I NEED HIS FUCKING HEAD WHO TRIED TO TAKE MY WIFE AWAY FROM ME ". Jake's roar echoed in the office as all the workers were now worried about their mistress.

He couldn't help but fist his hair in aggression,  he promised her father to protect her and here he was hopeless. The framed photo of his wife from their wedding that sat on his desk seemed to mock him of his promises.
It's been twenty four hours and there was still no intel on her .

Luna noticed the heavy atmosphere,  the absence of her owner bothered her , but she wasn't the only one as he in his despair found luna sitting in front of his feet purring accompanying him in their shared loss.

She purred lowly with her eyes dim as he looked at her , cuddling her he said " I miss her too ".

Away from this ,in the distant lands of harsh winter was Alaya helpless and chained by her tormentor .

The speaker in her room blared again radiating his cruel voice " Tch , tch, tch , you know my whore I thought you learned your lesson as a teen went I pulled out your fucking voice from your throat, I told you if you'll be his doll then you'll get whatever you want but you didn't and you chose to run away making him angry. I hate those who make my boy angry and you know what I do with them right ?" His laughter was all she heard before she blacked out of stress.

The man who spoke into the speaker laughed looking at the cameras. He quickly called him and said " I got a surprise for you my boy "

Within this chaos , will Alaya and Jake meet again ?

Omg , it's been a while and honestly I needed a lot of time to write this particular chapter. Both June and July of this year have been really hard for me personally because of exams and  health issues. Mentally ,I was not  in the right headspace to write anything.
