CHRIS' POV

"I can't believe you got coffee bean blast ice cream. Out of all the things you could've gotten from Trader Joe's... That's crazy," I said to Alex before I took a bite from my sublime ice cream sandwich.

Alex shook her head, grabbed a spoonful of the ice cream, and stuck it out to me.

"Don't knock it till you try it. This is the best ice cream I've ever had."

I scrunched my nose and examined the spoon of ice cream.

It didn't look that bad, but it didn't look good either.

"Just saying, the only reason I'm doing this is because you asked. If it were like Matt or Nick, I would never."

It was actually a really good date.

We painted matching dogs but obviously her's was better.

Now, we were in the parking lot of Trader Joe's eating junk food.

It couldn't have been a better first date.

Alex gave me a big smile and I opened my mouth.

Alex fed me the ice cream and she was looking at me for a reaction.

I smacked my mouth together to get the taste and scrunched my nose.

It was okay, just the aftertaste wasn't the best.

Alex's jaw dropped and she moved away from me.

"Don't tell me you don't like it!"

I didn't answer and Alex leaned over the center console and looked at me with pure disbelief.

"Are you serious?!"

I laughed as I watched her give me a disappointed look.

"It's alright."

Alex jokingly rolled her eyes and leaned back in her seat.

"The aftertaste just isn't my cup of tea."

I looked over at Alex with a smirk waiting for her reaction to another one of my corny joke.

Alex reached over and jokingly hit me.

"Enough with your corny ass jokes!"

I giggled and then reached over and started tickling her.

"Enough with the hitting me!" I laughed as Alex tried to fend me off.

She had a laugh that I enjoyed listening to.

"Chris stop!"

I didn't stop and I continued tickling her all over.

"Christopher!"

Alex was now trying to turn around in her seat so I couldn't reach her ticklish spots.

"Not until you admit you love my joke!"

"I don't love them though!"

Alex was well out of breath and I could tell she was about to give in.

"Okay I love your joke!"

I grinned and leaned back into my seat.

Alex's face was bright red from all the laughing she had been doing.

"Of course you love them. I'm hilarious."

Alex looked at me with daggers sticking out of her eyes.

If looks could kill, I would probably be dead.
