IAN'S POV
"So what is it, what's the truth?" I ask
"Look I am sure that my dad has nothing to do with your parents'accident, okay I agree that he was gonna kill your dad but that accident wasn't his doing" he says
"It was his doing, I told you I have the evidence and it's clear that your dad killed mine and that's never gonna change" I say
"Then show me the evidence " he says
"I can't "
"Why?"
"I ....I "
"What is it?"
"My brother found it and has kept it someplace safe that even I don't know, so we have to ask him about the evidence " I say
"Well fuck, he must be dead by now" he speaks and I go numb, I am unable to concentrate on what's going at the moment HE MUST BE DEAD is all that echoes in my head over and over
"Wh...what a.a..are you saying! What did you do to him? Oh mh god I start crying and start hitting him and scratching him, he holds my hands by I don't stop , he tightens his grip on my wrists behind ny back and I struggle to get away from him but his strength is unmatched
"Stop, I'll call mika and ask what he did with your brother, I'm sure he's alive , I was just stating the worst case scenario" he says and my nerves start to calm down a bit
"He's not dead right?" I ask still crying and sniffing
"No he's not"
He frees me from his tight hold and gets up and starts striding towards the door and just when he's about to exit he says, let's go your brother is waiting down for us. I get up and hurriedly go with him walking behind him like a puppy.
"What the hell is going on? And how did you even think that I would give you the only evidence that's left to prove your crimes huh?" Ben speaks to masimo in a tone which doesn't hide the anger and disgust he has towards him and their entire family
"I know you're angry and think that my father killed yours--"
" I know it's your dad, There's no denying it, so either go to the police yourself and confess your crimes or I'll ruin you and kill that father of yours" ben says
"Just chill the fuck out and listen to him, stop making it hard than it already is" mika growls and speaks to ian in a low voice
Ben goes silent and then masimo explains everything to him and to me that how there's a possibility that the one who killed my parents wasn't him father but his right hand . He told us everything from the scene of rape of his mother to the death of mu father and we all are silent and processing what shit drama is going on right now
"So you're saying that your father's right hand is behind all this right?" Ben asks masimo
"Yes, but I need to see the evidence before making any move and it's urgent because if even by chance Uncle john get's a sniff of this matter he'll run away or worst spill secrets which could destroy not only me or my empire but you guys too" he says calmly
"Okay I'll get you the flash drive in the next hour so stay here and I'll go get it" ben says and starts leaving but masimo speaks
"I know it might not be to your liking but I don't really trust you so I'll send mika with you , so even if you face danger , mika will be there to avoid anything harmful coming your way, I trust him so don't worry "
"Abso-fucking-lutely not, this brute is not coming with me,uhhhh naahhh naah that's a huge no" ben says protesting at his best
"Well your opinion doesn't really matter so shut up and hurry, we need to leave" mika says thorough his gritted teeth in an annoyed vibe
"Fuck off I can go on my own, I'm leaving bye ian take care" ben says and leaves and mika follows him and they exit through the large mansion dooors together while bickering. They're fighting as if they are just waiting for a chance and they'll totally rip out each other's faces
Masimo's head turns towards me but I don't look at him, " trust me, I'm not lying, my dad really isn't the one who killed your parents " he says
"And you trust me that my dad isn't the type to rape a women, he was a really nice guy " I say with a softening tone as I look at masimo, his expressions have softened and he's trying to be calm and patient. A low growl comes from my stomach and it is hella loud while the entire mansion on the other hand is silent as hell. Masimo notices it and says
"Let's go have some food or snacks "
"I'm not hungry " I say
"It's me who's hungry, just accompany me will ya?" He asks and I nod
We head towards the kitchen and masimo does something I never ever expected him to do, he pulls out the counter chair for me and Waits for me to settle down and since my legs Don't reach the ground, he swiftly pushes the chair inside to make me more comfortable. Okay my heart needs to stop beating so fast and loud, masimo is so close, I could literally kiss his cheek right now and he is kind of breathing near my nape that makes me squirm in my seat and goosebumps arise all over my body , I can't believe how much I'm sensitive to this guy, I'm aroused even tho he isn't touching me at all. God something's really wrong with this guy, he shouldn't be this perfect, it should be illegal.
He slowly takes a step back and settles in his own chair that's beside me, the chef brings us a few snack dishes which includes tacos , fries and burger for each one of us
"I didn't know that you eat burgers and fries, or any fastfood at all!" I say with a shocked and surprised tone
"Well I've started from the moment you came into my life" he says
Heat rises to my cheeks and they are burning hot, I bet my cheeks are all pinky right now but I don't pay that much attention, my attention is totally on the words he said
FROM THE MOMENT YOU CAME INTO MY LIFE
This goes on and on in my mind until masimo clears his throat that brings me out of my trance and that's when I realise that I was staring at his lips and he caught me
"I think burgers don't interest you the way my mouth does, is it?" He asks
And I take a big bite of my burger to prove him wrong but even I know that's not the truth
I THINK I REALLY AM IN LOVE WITH THIS GUY, AND NO ONE CAN CHANGE THAT
