Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter Four

Continuing their trek to the Cookie Kingdom, the group was almost there when they decided to resume talking some more.

"Hey, Adeleine Cookie was it?" GingerBrave spoke up.

"Uh, just Adeleine, thank you."

"Adeleine, got it. You mentioned that there were sentient trees in your world, what are they like?"

"Oh, they're mostly rooted creatures." Adeleine started to explain. "Sometimes they try to put up a fight, but they're pretty easy to deal with. Especially Whispy Woods, he's a grumpy old tree."

Wizard Cookie snorted a laugh. "Whispy Woods?"

"There are other sentient plant related creatures in our world besides trees though." Adeleine went on.

Kirby nodded. "And I've fought plenty of them too! (Including a giant flower! Though, it was also part bug, probably shouldn't mention that though...)

"Nice!" GingerBrave complimented Kirby "We've got lots of plant monsters in this world too! Some aren't too bad, but others are really-"

"GINGERBRAVE!!!!! WIZARD COOKIE!!!!!!" a Cookie up ahead suddenly shouted.

The group looked up ahead and saw that a Cookie wearing a pink strawberry hoodie and a green backpack was running towards them. A desperate look on her face.

GingerBrave ran up to her. "Strawberry Cookie! You okay?"

The Cookie, Strawberry Cookie apparently, regained her breath and looked at GingerBrave. "Yeah I'm fine, thank goodness you're back though! Some weird floating cat thing wandered into the kingdom and he's causing a bit of a fuss. I didn't know how to handle the situation, so I'm glad you're back."

"A floating cat thing?!?" Kirby suddenly exclaimed, popping up from behind GingerBrave.

"AAAAHHHH!!!!!" Strawberry Cookie screamed, pulling out a giant lollipop to protect herself.

"Hey! It's okay!" GingerBrave reassured her "These are the ones we saw fall over Dragon Hill! They're good! This is Kirby, Adeleine, and Bandana Waddle Dee!"

"Hai!!!" Kirby greeted, waving. Adeleine and Bandana Dee waved too.

Strawberry Cookie took a second to calm down, but once she did, she put away her lollipop and looked at Kirby. "Aww, you're actually kinda cute."

Kirby smiled. "Thank you! Nice to see a fellow fan of pink!"

Strawberry Cookie's mouth was covered by her hoodie, so it was hard to tell, but she appeared to be smiling as a result of Kirby's compliment. "Thank you. Sorry I screamed, you just surprised me is all."

"It's okay! Sorry I spooked you!"

"Back at the matter at hand though," Wizard Cookie spoke up "Kirby, it sounded like you knew the creature Strawberry Cookie was describing."

"Oh yeah!" Kirby exclaimed, flailing his arms and the mirror ability wand "I think it's our friend Magolor!"

GingerBrave started walking ahead. "Let's go see then! But first,"

GingerBrave then stood in front of an archway that was the entrance to the Cookie Kingdom. "Welcome to our kingdom!"

Kirby, Adeleine, and Bandana Dee, walked into the kingdom. Their expressions filled with wonder.

Adeleine had been picturing the kingdom would be purely gingerbread houses and other cute decors made out of gingerbread. She had been somewhat right, but it was so much more than that!

There were indeed gingerbread houses, but their designs were so much more creative than gingerbread houses usually were. There were facilities like lodges, farms, even a quarry! Though it looked like instead of stones the quarry was extracting sugar cubes.
