Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter Three

A fitting payback for what it did to Bandana Dee.

Seeing an opportunity, Kirby created a ring of several projections of himself around the monster, and all of them unleashed a reflective force on it. All the attacks together sent it flying, and it landed far away.

Having defeated/driven away all the enemies, Kirby did a mini version of his victory dance, while Adeleine and Bandana Dee took a satisfied breath and sat down. Relieved.

"Whew!" Bandana Dee sweated "Not the most challenging fight I've been in, but those things did put up more of a fight than I thought they would. Still, that fight was mostly manageable."

"You did a great job!" Kirby cheered at Bandana Dee, resulting in a happy look to form on the bandana wearing waddle dee's face "So did you Adeleine! Thanks for landing a hit that allowed me to finish the last creature off!"

Adeleine smiled "Aw thanks Kirby, you did great too! Although, how did you get a copy ability?"

"Yeah I was just about to ask that myself." said Bandana Dee "Were you able to acquire it from the staff?"

"Oh yeah! Uh hang on!" Kirby ran back to the bush where he had dropped the staff and used the hand that wasn't carrying the mirror wand to pick it up, then ran back to his friends.

(I can explain it to them.) Kirby thought to himself (After all, they have already seen the staff, and these two are some of my most trustworthy friends.)

Kirby sat down, presenting the staff, and started to explain. "You see..."

"So, there's a magical living Cookie within the staff, and she is gonna help provide you with copy abilities, but in return she wants you to help find a way to free her?" Bandana Waddle Dee asked once Kirby was finished sharing what had happened.

"That sums it up!" Kirby confirmed "She also wants us to keep the staff hidden from strangers."

"That makes sense." Adeleine nodded "We don't know the people- or I guess Cookies- of this world. For all we know most of them could be obsessed with treasure or power."

"She did say we could show it to people we do trust, when we find our friends should we show it to them?" Kirby suggested.

"Maybe." said Adeleine "Probably not Daroach though, he might try to steal it."

Kirby was going to say something in Daroach's defense, but then he remembered that Daroach did think that Jamba Hearts were jewels and wanted to take them all. Plus he does like stealing his cake a lot...

"Okay, so don't tell Daroach about it." Kirby agreed "What about Magolor?"

Bandana Dee thought about that. "I don't know, I worry he might want its power."

That time Kirby actually did have something to say in his friend's defense. "Hey, Magolor's changed since the 'Master Crown Incident'. Plus he knows way more about magical artifacts than we do."

"Yeah, he does." Bandana Dee agreed "Though so do Meta Knight, Taranza, and Hyness."

Kirby was going to speak up, but Adeleine beat him to it. "I say let's give Magolor a chance. And Kirby can keep an eye on him if he tries anything."

Kirby winked. "Will do!" And Bandana Dee nodded.

Surely showing it to Magolor would be fine right? Spelltwister Cookie did say its power could cause chaos if in the wrong hands. But Magolor was a much better person than he was before, and even if he tried to use some magic with it, maybe Spelltwister Cookie could make it so it wouldn't work?
