Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part One Chapter One

"Yeah, that seems to be the case..." a new voice suddenly said, Kirby instantly recognizing it.

"Adeleine?" Kirby called out "Is that you?"

"Y-yes..." Adeleine confirmed, her voice being heard from behind a tree. "I heard Bandana trying to wake you up, so I came over."

Kirby and Bandana Dee walked up to the tree Adeleine was hiding behind.

"What's wrong Adeleine?" Bandana Dee asked, concerned "Did you get turned into a cookie too?"

"Mhm... I... don't know if you're ready to see me though..."

Kirby tilted his head "Hey it's okay Adeleine!" he tried to encourage her "You can show yourself! It can't be that bad!"

"Okay..." Adeleine hesitantly said, revealing herself from behind the tree.

When Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee saw her, their eyes almost popped out of their heads from surprise.

The person standing in front of them was definitely Adeleine, that is if someone were to make a gingerbread person version of Adeleine. Her hands were nubs instead of standard human hands, and her shoes and socks looked like someone had squished them into a half cube shape, being more suited for a gingerbread person. Her skin looked crispy and doughy, and was pretty light toned. As for her face area, her nose and ears were absent and her mouth was just an outline. Her eyebrows and eye outlines were now white, and her eyes no longer had any black pupils now being purely purple, save for a white highlight. Even her hair looked slightly like it was made of frosting. The only thing that hadn't changed was her clothes, her smock and skirt still resembling how they looked when she was human, and her red beret looking pretty much the same.

"Woah..." said Bandana Dee, his eyes still being wide

Adeleine looked down at the ground, frowning "I look ridiculous don't I..."

"No! You look cute!" Kirby reassured her "Yes you look like a cookie, but you're still our Adeleine!"

A smile slowly formed on Adeleine's face. "Thank you." she said "You're very sweet Kirby."

Kirby smiled brightly. "Well of course! Anything for my friends."

The realization practically hit the three of them in the face.

"OUR FRIENDS!!!!" they all unanimously shouted.

Bandana Dee flailed his arms in the air. "Everything just happened so fast!" he exclaimed, trying to remember everything that led up to this point "One moment, some strange Dark Matter creature was about to grab Elfilin, then a vortex appeared and sucked us all in, and now we're in this place!"

Kirby was flailing his arms too. "Do you think our friends ended up in this world too?!? We need to find them if that's the case!"

"How did we even end up here???" asked Adeleine "The vortex that took us here formed after Elfilin sneezed onto a cookie-"

A huge flabbergasted look formed on Adeleine's face. "Wait, NO. That can't be how we got here, can it????????"

Kirby scratched his head. "Well, he had been sneezing a bit leading up to that point, and his sneezes were causing strange effects to happen." he recalled "He claims it was allergies, so maybe that was causing his powers to act up as a result?"

"You sure it was just allergies?" Bandana Dee questioned.

"I don't know..." Kirby pondered for a moment "Hopefully he wasn't catching a cold or something. If he is, we need to find him before it gets worse!"

Aldeleine looked around the area. "Hopefully we CAN find him." she said "He and the others could have landed anywhere in this strange world!"

"Well he and Magolor went into the vortex the same time we did," Bandana Dee pointed out "so maybe they're nearby!"
