'why is my Emergency Room filled with a squad of cheerleaders?',
I asked as I went to start my shift, Owen smiled at me slightly,
'there was an incident at a local high school which involved the cheerleading team',
Owen said to me, I let out a slight breath,
'this is going to be a long shift',
I said putting my stuff down, the cheerleaders quickly began to yell at each other. I looked at Owen confused, he looked at me awkwardly,
'this has been happening every half an hour we can't figure out how to keep them quiet',
Owen said, I let out a large sigh before realising what I had to do,
'I'll figure this out okay',
I said to Owen, he looked at me confused before I slowly backed away from him and headed toward the cheerleads,
'Ladies listen up!',
I yelled almost immediately everyone's eyes were on me, the cheerleaders look at me sceptically,
'as a former cheer captain at your school, I am extremely disappointed to see what the cheerleading team has become; while I was there we put in a cheerleading pledge and I know you still do it so did I need to remind you of what it is?',
I asked them. The team looked at me somewhat confused and partially terrified, no one responded. I raised my eyebrows at everyone, I quickly got into position and began to do the cheerleading pledge, I had just started when I heard someone speak up,
'is everything okay in here y/n?',
I heard the person ask. I stopped and quickly looked towards the person, my eyes went wide as I realised it was Jackson I slowly began to nod my head at him,
'yes everything is okay',
I said my voice cracking ever so slightly. Jackson shook his head at me as I awkwardly smiled at him, he walked away, I quickly go out of formation and made my way towards Jackson. I realised that he was waiting for me outside of the ER,
'did I walk in on you doing a cheerleading routine?'.
