i miss the shirts under scrubs era

'y/n why are you not in your scrubs we have surgery?',

Meredith said walking into the attending a lounge not even look down at me and questioning why I was on the ground in an uncomfortable position. I shook my head at her,

'I can't operate right now',

I said to her, she looked at me confused,

'tell me where it hurts',

Meredith said to me, I shook my head slightly,

'no it's fine go and operate',

I said to her, she looked at me annoyed;

'Y/n I'm not leaving here until you tell me what's going on',

Meredith said to me, I let out a loud breath and winced in pain as it hurt. I lifted my scrub top up to reveal a massive bruise going up my left side,

'a patient coming down from a high pushed me into a wall and I have been in so much pain since it has happened',

I said to her, she nodded her head,

'y/n we need to get you to the pit now',

Meredith said to me, I shook my head at her,

'I am fine Meredith it's just a bruise that's all',

I said to her, she raised her eyebrows at me,

'y/n it most definitely is not, you have major internal bleeding you need surgery!'
