🌺UNKNOWN ATTACK🌺

Manik shook in his unconscious state as memories revolved in his mind, shocking others who were dumbfounded by truth.

"Mannu!" Arjun pulled him closer, "Bacha... Utho... Come out of it beta...kuch nahi hai yaha... You are safe... Please mannu... Snap out of it." He pleaded in teary tone.

Manik after much difficulty opened his eyes looking around with fear. As soon his eye fell on Arjun he cuddled closer, "Baba..."

Arjun caressed his back, "Shh... Sab thik hai beta. Mei hu na... Sh... Shanth hojao."

Watching them, Others slowly left the room as Arjun got busy in consoling him. He didn't ask or spoke anything as that would only increase anxiety inside Manik.

Outside Sam silently left to his room, his mind revolving around his sister sacrifice which he wasn't aware till date, his accusations thrown at Arjun, his behaviour everything made him drown in self guilty, fell on his knees lifelessly, "Aaj tak Arjun ko tumari maut ka zimmedar manta aya lekin yeh sach jane ki koshish hi nahi ki... Tum kudh apne bache keliye apne aapko qurban kiya." Fresh tears streamed down his eyes.

Kabir who followed him saw his state, kneeled before, "Sambhalo apne aap ko Sam."

Sam looked at him, "Pehle kyu nahi bataya tum yeh sach?"

Kabir replied, "Kyunki tum sach sunhe ki state of mind mei nahi tey. Arjun bahut baar tumhe batane ki koshish ki lekin tum apne gussa aur nafrat ke aage kuch nahi dekha. With time, we stopped trying."

Sam loathed in self guilty, "Itne saal bas apne gussa ke wajah se sab ko takleef deta aya. Yaha Tak meine Arjun ko hi nahi balki tumhe or Manik dono ko bhi chot paunchaya. Roshini kabhi mujhe maaf nahi karegi."

Kabir shook his head, "Shayad woh tumhe sab baat keliye maaf kar bhi deti lekin uske bache ko hurt karne keliye kabhi nahi." He spoke in knowing tone.

Sam stared at him with uncertainty, Kabir got up, "Mannu keval uska bacha hi nahi ... Roshini ki jaan basti hai usmei. Mannu ke ankhon mei ek anssu bhi aya woh bardash nahi karti... Yaha tak woh mannu keliye humsab se, Arjun se ladti."

Sam nodded understanding. Otherside Arjun got worried watching him crying silently, " bas mannu ... Shanth hojao."

"Maar diya jiji ko ...!" He stammered in fearful tone.

Arjun tightened his hold around him, "Mannu... Please stop stressing about past. Tabiyat kharab hojayega."

Manik couldn't digest the truth which he had forgotten. The little soul had witnessed the horror which no child of his age should experience, Slowly due to exhaustion he fell asleep on Arjun.

Not hearing his cries anymore Arjun looked down saw him sleeping caressed his face, "Pata nahi kaise sambhal paunga tujhe!" Knowing it's going to be hard to bring him out of this.

Gently lowering on bed he pressed a kiss on forehead, "Lekin mera wada hai... Tum akele nahi honge mannu. Tere yeh Bhai humesha tere saath dega taki tum iss dard se jeet paoge."

Covering him properly he came out closing the door saw Abhi standing outside.

"Kaisa hai woh?" Abhi enquired. Arjun shook his head sadly, "Thik nahi hai woh."
