In the evng, Manik met Khanna complaining about Dheeraj, "Khannu bhai, aap kyu bhaiya ke baat mangaye... Mujhe uss chimpu ke saath nahi jana hai."
Khanna monitoring the security looked at him, "Chote baba.... Aap kyu zidd karrahe, Dheeraj bahut acha hai. Arjun sir mujhe iss kaam keliye paise dete hai .... Agar mei unke baat nahi Manta woh mujhe naukari se nikal dete." He said reminding him about his position.
Manik got hurt, "Toh aapke liye mei keval bhaiya ke diya hua kaam hu?"
Khanna shook head as he took his words wrong, "Aisa nahi hai chote baba, hum sab aapko chahte hai par sach ye bhi ki mei aapke bodyguard hu."
Manik frowned, "Par mei aapko dost Manta hu Khannu bhai."
"Hum bhi aapke dost hai chote baba par Arjun sir ke baat na mane ka jurat hum nahi karsakte. Kya aap yeh chahte ki Sir mujhe yaha se nikal de?" He spoke questioning him at the end.
Manik shook head, "Nahi Khannu bhai .... Aap apne kaam karo. Bye." Saying he left thinking over his words.
He stopped at the study peeked inside saw Arjun looking through files very seriously pouted as his stomach made noises. As even after everyone advice he hadn't had anything throughout the day.
Slowly he walked inside feeling guilt for hurting Arjun with his words n behaviour.
Arjun sensed his presence didn't react to see what he would do wasn't suprised as Manik sat on him pushing the files away.
Looking at his face he raised eyebrow. Manik squirmed, "I'm sorry bhaiya." He apologized.
Arjun gazed down at him, Manik pouted, "Ab kyu ghur rahe ho aap? Sorry bolo na mannu ne."
"Meherban karrahe ho?" Arjun asked in sarcastic tone.
Manik shook head, "Nahi bhaiya.... Sachi... Mei bas bakwas bol raha tha subah."
Arjun nodded, "Tum toh mujhse naraz ho? Phir sorry kyu? Kya chahiye tujhe...!" He came to point knowing the one before him very well.
Showing teeth, "Mujhe kheer khane ka mann hai."
"Toh cooks se bolo ... Mere paas kyu aye ho?" Arjun stated plainly.
Manik pouted, "Aapke haathon ka bane kheer bhaiya.... Pls banao na... Mannu pretty please...!" He asked in buttery tone making puppy eyes.
Arjun shook head, "Pehle yeh bata tu lunch Kiya?" He asked. When Manik looked down he face turned stern, "Subah se kuch nahi khaya tu.... How careless Mannu." He chided pinching his thigh.
"Oww...Oww... bhaiya...chodo...dard horaha....!" He whined squirming.
Arjun left his hold after few minutes saw tears pooled in his eyes gave a stern warning, "I really don't appreciate this mannu."
"Cholly...!" He mumbled cutely melting his anger in a jiffy. Arjun saw him rubbing his thigh stopped, "Jor se lagi?"
Manik nodded pouting, "Aap aaj kal bikul KSSR bann gaye."
Arjun raised his eyebrow, "Kya?"
"Khadoos Stone Singh Raizada!" He complained cutely.
Shaking head at his wierd names, came to kitchen to full fill his demands.
Manik hoped onto kitchen slab while Arjun placed two pans on the stove.
Manik frowned watching him cutting veggies, "Bhaiya... Kya bana rahe ho. Kheer mei yeh sab todi na daalte hai."
