"Thank you for the flowers" I thanked walking toward the car where my boyfriend John was waiting "Oh yea? I didn't get you any fucking flowers" he cursed walking over to me "I didn't think you'd mind" his face got red and it looked like a vein was going to pop out of his forehead
"Who the fuck gave you flowers you are MY girlfriend" he got right in my face and lifted his hand as if he wanted to hit me "Hit me and it will be the last thing you'll ever do" he backed off a little but the vein on his forehead was still visible, "thought so" I muttered "shut the hell up" he growled
"Or what?" I taunted his jaw clenched and he gave me a death glare "Or you'll regret it" I giggled "You're scary" I teased giggling again making him angrier "You stupid ugly piece of-" I rolled my eyes at his insults "lemme stop you right there if anyone of us is ugly it's you, now if you excuse me I have better things to do" I started to walk off when I heard him scoff
"You are lucky to have me you know how many beautiful women would love to date me, yet I'm dating you, you ugly piece of shit you're nothing and you should lose a few pounds maybe then you'll be prettier" he announces before walking back to his car and driving off
"What an ass" I went to my car and thought for a second, am I really ugly? Thoughts started to run through my mind, I never really had confidence, since I grew up wearing a leotard, while looking in the mirror for five hours, maybe he's right maybe I am ugly, I started to get out of the parking lot when my phone started to ring, I looked down at the contact number and saw my mothers contact
"Hey Милая Lena and I have a mission that'll last a few days so you can go stay with your mom or stay at the house it's your choice" Natasha explained through the other line "Isn't mom on an assignment in DC" I could hear my mama sigh "Right she is, umm well then you can stay at our house-" she paused it sounded like she was talking to someone then got back to me "or you can go to fury's or stay with your boyfriend" I laughed "mama you know most mothers wouldn't allow their 16-year-old daughter to spend the night with their boyfriend" Natasha chuckled at my comment
"Well I trust you дорогая, so who will you stay with, you can always stay in the compound" I rolled my eyes she always wants me to join the Avengers, she says it's safer, which it might but I don't know how it would be to live with a whole bunch of heroes, there's no way in hell ill spend the night with John, uncle nick is fine we always have small dance parties, he even made me a bedroom there "I- wait does uncle nick know about me coming over?" I asked "yea it was his idea" Mama answered, "Wait he's there?" Natasha hummed as a responds "yea here" The line was quieter and I can hear a lot of movement
"Hey little red" nick fury greeted "uncle nick!" I smiled "Hey I'm on my way to my house Meet you there?" Nick asked "yea I'll be there is carol there?" he chuckled "No she went back to space, it sounds to me that you like her better than me" I chuckled "Just a little bit" A car honked behind me as I swerved "Hey your driving why are you on the phone if your driving" rolling my eyes at his comment I answered "it's on speaker" I could hear him shake his head in disapproval "okay ill see you there you have a key if you get there early right?" I answer with a hum then he passed the phone back to my mama
"So you're staying with Nick?" I heard someone clear their throat and then my mama sighed "Fury. Are you going to stay with Fury?" I nod then remember she can't see me "yea I'm staying with him" I could hear her turn "Send me a video of him singing when you too do the dance party" she whispers "I'll get right on that" she chuckled "okay love you"
"Love you to" I heard her move the phone "oh Mom" it took a minute before she answers "yeah?" I let out a sigh "Be careful" I suggested "I will детка don't worry" We talked for a few more minutes then we hung up
I drove to Uncle nicks house which was 30 minutes away from where I was and when I got there I found a cute ginger cat laying on the mat in front of the front door "Hey goose" I picked the cat up and unlocked the door
Uncle Nick has a long sofa and then in the corner of his living room he has a chair, it was my turn to have a dramatic entrance, so I turned off all the lights and placed Goose on my lap, I was hidden sitting on the chair in the dark corner of the room and waited to for him to get there, I was finally going to scare him
