CHAPTER 2: Mom knowing him.

I was scrolling on TikTok, when mom said she wants to bye new outfit so did i. So, she ask me whether i wanted to go shopping.

" Mom, am hundred percent in." I said

" But you only have a budget of $5000" Mom said.

"Mommmm, even a person who shop at THE THRIFT store uses more than $5000." I chukled.

"Am serious you have lots of clothes in your walk in closets."

"C'mon mom almost all the clothes was when we went shopping last"

"That was a week ago, and you've never even wore one of the dresses we bought."

" Mom cause i don't want to." I turned my head away.

" I spoiled you too much."she says

" you have lots of clothes and you won't even let me to choose my own budget." I mumbled.

Like guys she literally has FOUR walk in closets one for shoes then another for bags then for dresses and  the last one for jewelry  , and i only have one. This woman does what she wants and wouldn't even let me do what i want.

" See honey, am sorry we can go shopping any other time okay?"

"Okay."

" so why don't we go to target and gets some skincare products."

As we were paying at the cashier's table , Guess who i saw? Caleb.

I hid my face from him but he saw me.

"Mom am gonna go to the car and wait"

"Okay honey."

I was walking and looking at my phone and a car almost hit me, but Caleb saved me and he sprain he's ankle. Ok

" you stupid boy, who told you to save me?, now your hurt."I said Punching he's shoulder.

As he looked me in the eyes, he had a perfect jawline and he's perfect blue eyes.

"Awwwn, are you worried about me." My face started heating up.

"N-no am not worried about you am just, i don't know." And i punch he's shoulder again.

" OUCH" i wrapped my hand around his waist and took him to the car.

"WHAT HAPPENED" As she signaled the driver to help me take Caleb into the car.

" Actually , when i told you i was gonna to the car.... i-i was w-walking a-and a car alm-."

" honey calm down and talk to me" i took and deep breath.

"He saved me from a guy who was over speeding." I said.

" Charlie take us home and call the doctor." She said to our chauffeur.

"No need to do all that" Caleb said sounding like a whisper.

" never say that to my mom because she loves helping people and she will get angry if she hears that." I whisper into his ears.

We went home and mom took him to one of the extra rooms.

After the doctor treated him, he said he need special care. And he shouldn't stand up so he won't make it worse.

I was about to leave, when mom said" where do you think your going."

" To my room, duh."

"No your not"

"Yes i can, the maids can take good care of him." saying that i turned and started walking.

"AMELIA CORTESE, come back here." She yelled

" y-yes...m-mom." I said i was really scared because I've never heard her in my life say my real name.

" your staying here and taking care of this boy over here.

"Yes mom." As she left the room.

I looked at Caleb and he looked so cute when his hurt.oh fuck what am i thinking

" So, your name is Amelia."

"Yep." I said poping the 'p'

" why don't you use it instead you use arya"

"Its my great grandmothers name."

" your different from other girls."

" why do you think that" i thought he was gonna say something sweety but instead he said

" Bcos your annoying." I went over and punched his stomach.

He was trying to hold the pain and i burst out with laughter.

" you have the most beautiful smile I've ever seen." As i blushed.

" Thank you"

" so., what do you do for fun?" He asked.

" i just make tiktok's or watch movies." After a few minutes of silence i finally spoke."

" so, what were you doing on target."

" i just went there to buy lotion." I chuckled when he said that.

I was really having a good time he isn't bad after all.

EMILY CORTESE POV

"Did you know what your daughter did." I asked my husband

"No."

" She didn't want to take care of the guy who saved here."

He gasped looking at his phone.
"Really."

" yes, she's ungrateful."

" pass the ball to Rashford you idiot."

" did you here what i just said."

" And its a goal, what were you saying honey." As he looked away from his phone.

" never mind." I say.

" honey don't you think we should tell arya about the thing."
I said.
" if we tell her she will freak out lets just never tell her."
