Lust was erased for losing to Chastity in an agreement. Envy was able to be reborn thanks to Kindness. Greed was erased for his forbidden relationship with Charity. Wrath was punished and erased for murdering people with his own hands. Sloth was reborn by the wish of the former Diligence. And Gluttony... He got erased by his own will.
All that was left was me.
It was funny how Deadly Sins were anything but evil. We were all just people who were hurt in the past and were seeking to hurt others as a result. 'How arrogant,' one might say.
I traced the diamonds on the teardrop earrings and sighed. The meeting room of the Deadly Sins never felt eerily quiet and uncomfortable like this.
"What should I do from now on?" I asked myself, my voice echoing against the tall walls.
Even when I was gone, pride would still persist.
