AS MUCH AS HE HATED IT, HE COULDN'T

skip the interview that was sessioned and already agreed upon. "Are you sure you'll be fine?" Sae asked while standing at the maindoor. "Your fever still hasn't gone down and it's been 2 days."

Y/N mustered a weak smile, appreciating Sae's concern. "I'll be okay, Sae. Just go and give your interview. You getting late so get your ass off here!"

He put on a sarcastic smile and opened the door "I wish you faint. I hate you so much. I don't remember when was the last time you talked properly"

Y/N leaned against the wall and scoffed "Yeah right... hate me as much as you want but YOU ARE ALREADY LATE! Just go!!"

"Alright, alright," Sae said and exited the apartment. Y/N locked the door from the inside and walked back on the couch, taking her medicine and going through her phone as she rested and waited for Sae's return.

It was a really lonely ride for him. It was the first schedule that he would be doing alone without her by his side. His thoughts drifted to their usual conversations during such rides. Y/N would often tease him, cracking jokes or sharing interesting stories to lighten the mood and nag him about how hard it was to be his manager and every time she did that, he hated it but her absence now made him realize how much he relied on her.

Sae's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Y/N. He wondered how she was doing back at the apartment and wished he could have stayed to take care of her. The guilt of leaving her alone with a fever gnawed at him, but he knew that he couldn't cancel or postpone the interview.

"I noticed something..." The driver spoke up and Sae switched his attention to him "You and miss Y/N have gotten closer..."

"Have we?"

"Well... I don't know but it seems like it. Do you like her?"

"No"

"Oh- I see, nevermind..."

Sae's response was curt, but his mind couldn't help but replay the moments he shared with Y/N. As the car continued its journey, Sae couldn't shake off the driver's words. Did he like Y/N? It was a question he had been grappling with for some time now. He admired her dedication, her support, and the way she managed even the most challenging times. But did that conclude to liking her? He was confused.

Lost in his thoughts, Sae sighed and leaned back against the car seat. He wished he had more clarity on his own feelings, but for now, he focused on the task at hand—the interview. As the car approached the interview location, Sae's mind shifted back to the present. It was going to be an interview related the previous match but he couldn't care less about it.

He stepped out of his car and entered the building with people waiting for him to guide his way through the broadcasting room. "Hello, I'll be your interviewer today" The man said and shook hands with Sae.

As Sae settled into his seat, he took a moment to collect his thoughts. Despite his current emotional state, he had to maintain professionalism and give the interview his best effort, regardless of his personal feelings or distractions.

The interviewer began with a few introductory questions, discussing the previous match and Sae's performance. Sae answered with a professional demeanour, trying to convey his thoughts and insights with clarity and precision. However, his mind kept drifting back to Y/N, and he couldn't help but wonder how she was doing.

With every question he was growing impatient and wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The interview continued for what felt like an eternity to Sae. He couldn't wait for it to be over so he could rush back to Y/N. Every passing moment only intensified his concern and longing to be with her.

Finally, the interviewer signalled that the interview was coming to an end. Sae let out a sigh of relief, grateful that he could soon leave and return to Y/N's side. The interviewer thanked him and all Sae did was nod and walk out of the broadcasting room, eager to get back to the apartment.

The ride felt back to the apartment felt agonizingly slow, and he anxiously tapped his fingers against his leg, wishing he could teleport to Y/N's side.

And when he arrived he rushed out and quickly unlocked the door. The driver looked at Sae rushing towards and building and smiled to himself "That boy definitely likes her"

Sae burst into the apartment, his heart pounding with a mix of worry and anticipation. He immediately spotted Y/N on the couch, who looked at him with annoyance. "What the fuck! Who enters a house like that?!"

"How's your fever?" He asked, ignoring every word that Y/N said and taking a seat next to her. "Did you rush here?" She asked making him hesitant to give an answer to that question. "Wait- are you for real? Why did you rush here?"

"I- I was just worried..."

Y/N let out a laugh and cupped his cheeks "Are you in love with me now?" She asked making his cheeks heat up and turn into a light shade of pink as he looked the other way. Sae's face flushed even more at Y/N's teasing, and he couldn't bring himself to look directly at her. Her touch on his cheeks and her playful remark caught him off guard, making his heart race even faster.

"N-No, it's not like that," Sae stammered, trying to regain his composure. "I was just genuinely concerned about you. I wanted to make sure you were okay."

Y/N chuckled softly, seeing the flustered state Sae was in. She leaned back against the couch, studying his reaction with amusement. "Well, it's sweet of you to worry so much. But don't worry, I'll be fine. It's just a fever."

Sae finally turned to face Y/N, his expression filled with a mixture of relief and affection. "I'm glad to hear that you're not too unwell. But still, take care of yourself, okay? If you need anything, just let me know."

Y/N's eyes softened as she looked at Sae. She could sense his genuine concern and care for her well-being. "Thank you, Sae. I appreciate your support. It means a lot to me."

Sae nodded, a small smile forming on his lips. "I think... I do like her."

"Y/N... get well soon"

"Yeah"
